SUNNYDALE CRATER - 2103
Kennedy leads the others into a huge white walled chamber. Sarah recognizes the machine in the middle of the room as a clone machine. In a circle were seven pre-programmed clones, four men and three women. Sarah stares at the pre-clones, their featureless bodies....she has seen this before, and she was still uncomfortable with it. What really upset her was the seven dirty, old coffins in the room. The smell of decay was almost unbearable. Sarah then looked at the objects near the heads of the pre-clones, seven shining orbs.
SARAH-
"Are those what I think they are?"
ANGEL-
"Yes....Orbs of Thelusah. They capture a person's soul and hold it until it can be transmitted to a body."
KENNEDY-
"We re-worked the spell. Their souls will be transmitted in these pre-clones at around one hundred years ago." Sarah suddenly knew that they were accepting.
SARAH-
"Wait! Hold a Goddamn minute....we mean...."
SPIKE-
"Yep....the only ones that can stop St. Vigerous is the orginal Scooby Gang."
KENNEDY-
"That's were you come in....you see since their children were born of mystical births, we couln't encode that to the spell. So, when they wake up....they will have no memory of their orginals having kids."
SARAH-
"What about the Slayer traits, witchcraft, and other stuff."
ANGEL-
"All of that will be included....except for Dawn. She will no longer be the Key. Let's begin." They step back as the techinicians and the wiccans join forces. A covering falls over the pre-clones, and after a few minutes, the shields raise back up. A blond girl of about 22 years of age looks around. One of the techs ask her if she knows who she is.
"Yeah....my name is Buffy Summers. ANGEL!? SPIKE!? Who are you two? WHERE'S DAWN!!!???" A doctor sedates her.
A couple of hours later, Sarah is looking at a holographic monitor watching Buffy, Xander, Faith, Oz, Dawn, Giles, and most important Willow. 'She's my great grandmother! What in the hell do I say to her?' Spike walks into the room.
SPIKE-
"You're alright?"
SARAH-
"Spike....what do I say to the most famous demon fighting team in history. The Scooby Gang."
SPIKE-
"I don't think that's who were thinking about."
SARAH-
"You're right....what do I say to her. (She points at Willow)."
SPIKE-
"She's not really Willow, she's a clone."
SARAH-
"A clone that has been imprinted with the mind and memories of Willow Rosenberg. How can you understand?"
SPIKE-
"YEAH! You see that one....the clone that looks, sounds, and acts like my dead wife! How can you say I don't understand...." He walks out of the room.
SARAH-
"Spike, I'm sorry." It was too late, he didn't hear her. She turns back to the monitor and watches as Willow stares at the camera.
