CAVE OUTSIDE LIMA, PERU -2045
Seth fired his last crossbow arrow at the vampire and thankfully it hit it's target. His small band have gathered in the cave for defense, but they had found them anyway. Their leader told them that vampires had a ultra-sense of smell. But so did their leader. Seth left the line of defense and ran back towards their leader, an old man with a beard and long unkept siler hair.
SETH-
"They kept coming, not are we going to do?"
LEADER-
"We'll hold here until they find us. They're close now." The leader sniffs the air. He knows that smell all too well.
SETH-
"Who's close to us?"
LEADER-
"Friends."
SETH-
"If they don't find us, Oz. We'll all die here."
OZ-
"Probably."
BELL TOWER, LIMA, PERU
Angel, William, and Alex carefully walk up the steps of the bell tower. The enemy was up there....somewhere. Buffy and Willow were minding the others. It pissed Buffy off the way that Angel told her to stay. He shook his head....'She's 63 years old and she still thinks she's 23.' Her reflexes have slowed, even though she was the Slayer. But then again, Slayers were never meant to be in their sixties. They were supposed to die in their teens or early twenties. Then again, he had opposed the whole idea of Buffy and Willow coming at all, but they both wouldn't take no for an answer.
They reached the top of the stairs to find six vampires looking over the edge. Angel once again shook his head. There was no one covering their backs. Stupid. William and Alex began to attack and quickly dust the vamps, but Angel had his sights set on Gorch. The cowboy quickly jumped on of the side window onto a roof, and Angel followed. Suddenly, Gorch turned and faced him.
LYLE-
"You know, Angelus. I always wanted to throw down with ya."
ANGEL-
"The name's Angel, shit kicker." Gorch swings a punch and Angel blocks it. The Vampire With A Soul then unleashes unholy hell on Gorch. The vampire was no match for Angel. After being knocked down for the last time, Gorch charges Angel. He calmly sticks out his arm and flicks his wrist, a stake points out from behind his coat and Lyle Gorch is turned to dust.
