CLEM ISLAND - 2045
Dawn was typing on the Council's computer, setting up a network for the possible bases around the world, when Jill runs in. Jill Stone was a young wiccan who volunteered to stay behind to maintain the force field.
JILL-
"Hello, Dr. Harris. Have they left?"
DAWN-
"Hi, Jill. Yes they left for Hawai'i and Peru about an hour ago. How's the force field doing."
JILL-
"It's good. Dr. Rosenberg taught me the spells to maintain it."
DAWN-
"Excellent. That's some good work, but don't you have Vi's class to get to?"
JILL-
"Yes, ma'am. Thank you."
DAWN-
"You're welcome."
Jill walks out of Dawn's office and walks around the corner. She takes out a vidphone and pushes a button. The image of Lyle Gorch appears on the screen.
JILL-
"We're ready...."
HAWAI'I-
Kennedy and Spike scan the beach for signs of demons. Faith and Maple began to walk up a path towards the abandoned Naval base at Pearl Harbor. Back on the beach, Xander began to organize the girls into patrol groups. After a few minutes, Faith and Maple came back.
MAPLE-
"The base looks deserted."
SPIKE-
"Alright, that's where we'll set up."
KENNEDY-
"Good. You guys do that." She starts walking towards the city of Honolulu.
SPIKE-
"Where are you going?"
KENNEDY-
"Hunting."
SPIKE-
"Xander, get five or six of the troops to go with her." Spike turns back towards Kennedy, but she was already gone. "She's getting more and more like her mother."
LIMA, PERU-
Buffy and Angel lead their group through the narrow streets of Lima, Peru. Behind them was Buffy's son, William, and Willow. Next to her was Alex, Xander's son. Buffy looks over to him....he looked so much like his father. She look over at Willow. It was almost like having the orginal gang back. She felt a moment of sadness when she remembers it has been 13 years since her 'father' Rupert Giles died of a heart attack. Suddenly, a small flame flicks in a dark bell tower.
BUFFY-
"Will?"
WILLIAM AND WILLOW-
"Yeah?"
BUFFY-
"Uh....I meant Willow. I call you son, remember?"
WILLIAM-
"Sorry, mum."
WILLOW-
"What's up?"
BUFFY-
"You sense anything?"
WILLOW-
"The bell tower. Vampires."
Up in the bell tower, Lyle Gorch was beating the hell out of one of his minions who had lit a cigarette.
