“So what do we do now?” Dawn asked.
“I don’t know,” Buffy said, “It’s not like we have any more information on what did this.”
“Maybe we should go find some then,” Spike said, one of his patented smirks playing across his lips as he entered the room. They all looked so glum and defeated.
“You mean go to Cleveland?” Willow said.
“Yeah.”
Andrew nodded his head, “It’s so crazy. It just might work.”
“You’re a dork and half,” Dawn said, sending one of Angel’s couch pillows flying into Andrew’s face.
“Hey!” he yelled in protest.
“Only problem is how do we get there?” Willow said.
“You could always ask broody pants to lend you one of his cars, I suggest the viper,” Spike said, knowing it was Angel’s favorite.
“I’m in,” Faith said.
“Me too,” Dawn said.
“Yeah,” Buffy said, “I could never resist the cliché of a road trip.”
“Ooo I cal shot gun!” Andrew said, getting very excited.
Buffy shook her head, “What about you Will?”
“I’m in.”
“Good, it’s settled then,” Buffy said, “Cleveland here we come.”

“Hey,” Buffy said, walking into Angel’s office.
He looked up from his paper work and smiled at her. He could still make her melt just a little with that smile, he rarely revealed, “What’s up?”
“I was wondering if maybe you could lend us a car,” she said, moving closer.
“Are you going somewhere?”
“Cleveland,” Buffy said, “We need to figure out what did this and we can’t do that here. Besides all the girls they’d go back there, not here and we’ve kinda out stayed our welcome.”
“No, you haven’t,” Angel said, trying to prevent the inevitable goodbyes that would shortly follow after he handed her the keys to his car. He wasn’t going to say no to her. He couldn’t. He sighed, “Any preference?”
Buffy laughed, “Spike suggested the Viper.”
Angel frowned at the comment. Spike was going with her, “Spike’s going with you?”
“Yeah,” Buffy shrugged like it wasn’t a big deal, “Dawn missed him. Besides he can help with fighting and stuff….You okay?”
“Yeah,” he got up, “Why don’t you just take the jet.” He smiled.
“Thanks Angel…for everything,” she said. He just nodded in response and allowed her to envelope him in a hug and then she was gone.
Angel sat back down at his desk and pressed a button on his telephone, “Harmony?”
“Yeah boss,” the perky blonde vampire’s voice said over the intercom.
“Get the jet ready for Buffy.”
“You got it boss.”
“And Harmony?”
“Yeah?”
“Remind me to kill Spike when he comes back from Cleveland,” Angel said in a mock serious tone. He wouldn’t really but he could hope Spike would do something stupid enough to give him a reason to.
“Ahh,” Harmony said hesitatingly, “Sure thing boss.”
