Xander, Beth and willow raced through the streets. Xander had a looked focused, which was rare for him.
“God I hope we’re not too late.” He said anxiously
“It’ll be a lot quicker if we pop there Alex.” Beth commented
“Yeah I know,” Xander replied, “but then Will wouldn’t be able to catch up.”
“I’m not seeing the problem.”
Willow shot an angry glance over to Beth. While they were rushing Willow moved in next to Xander.
“Hey Xander,” she said in her sweet tone, “Are you doing anything after we rescue everybody?”
Xander looked at her confused.
“Is this the best time to talk about this?”
“I was just thinking that maybe we could do something together.”
“Still don’t think this is the best time Will.”
“Yeah,” Beth replied moving up next to Xander on the other side, “besides we have plans.”
Now it was Beth’s turn to get a confused look from Xander.
“Do we?” he asked
Beth looked at Xander with her adorable half smile.
“of course sweetie I was thinking that we find somewhere private and . . .”
Beth whispered into Xanders ear. A moment later Xander began to giggle like a five year old boy. Beth shot Willow a gloating look. Willow frowned angrily. Xander looked over at willows expression and stopped laughing. He cleared his throat anxiously.
“We’ll think about that later,” Xander said in what passed for his serious tone, “There are lives at stake that are relying on our sex, ah, success!”
“Xanders right,” Willow replied, “We need total focus on saving the others . . .”
“Thanks Will.” Xander replied
“ . . . Then me and Xander are going for ice cream.”
“Yeah . . . wait, what?”
Beth rolled her eyes.
“He can’t eat you idiot he’s a ghost.” She said annoyed
“I know,” Willow replied, “maybe he would like to watch me eat.”
Xander stopped at faced both Willow and Beth.
“Okay, that’s it,” he said in frustration, “as much as I’m enjoying the both of you fight over me can we please save the royal rumble till after we rescue Buffy, Angel and Giles?”
Willow and Beth looked at each other.
“Okay.” Willow said guiltily
Xander looked over to Beth.
“Beth?”
Beth folded her arms and looked away from Xander.
“fine, whatever.” She replied
“See that wasn’t so hard was it? now shake hands . . .”
Begrudgingly Willow and Beth shook hands.
“. . . and say you’re sorry . . . “
“Sorry,” both of them said in a half hearted manner.
“. . . good, now, I want you both to cluck like a chicken.”
Beth and Willow gave Xander a look. Xander shrugged.
“What? too far?” he asked
Both Willow and Beth nodded slowly. Xander turned around
“Okay let’s go.” he said
The trio headed off again. Beth thought about what Xander said
“You’re right we need to focus, “she said to him, “hey, If you want I can do the rescue naked?”
Xander looked at her again with a giant grin on his face. Beth gave a sideways glance over to Willow who was frowning intensely.
“Oh yeah!” she yelled, “Well . . . you think you’re the only one who can do that type of stuff.”
Willow stopped and began to unbutton her dress. The other two stopped as well and Xander gave willow a worried look.
“What are you doing Will?” he asked
Willow ignored him. She unfastened the last button, pulled her dress up over her head and flung it behind her. Willow stood triumphantly in her underwear.
“See,” Willow said seriously, “she’s not the only one who can be inappropriately hot and sexy during a crisis!”
“That’s . . . great . . . Will.” Xander replied not exactly sure what to say
For a long Willow stood there while Beth and Xander stared at her worried. After the moment had passed willows self consciousness kicked in.
“Alright then,” she said anxiously, “I proved my point. Now I’m going to get dressed.”
“That might be a problem Will.” Xander said hesitantly
“Why?”
“See when you did that whole throwing your dress over your shoulder to prove a point thing. Your dress . . . kinda fell into the storm drain behind you.”
Willow looked around quickly. sure enough Xander was right Willow saw the storm drain and the complete absence of her dress.
“Oh.” Willow replied worried
“Do you wanna go back and put on a shirt or something?” Xander asked
Willow turned back stiffly.
“No, no . . . I said I could do this . . . and I will.”
Willow turned and started to walk in a very self-conscious manner in the direction of the warehouse. Beth shook her head slowly.
“There is something wrong with that girl.” she said
It took another 15 minutes for them to arrive at the warehouse. the trio poked their head out from behind the wall of a near by building.
“We need to find a way in,” Xander commented, “anybody have any ideas?”
“Maybe will can be all hot and sexy in front of them.” Beth said earning a look of death from Willow
“Guys, focus, we need to stay alert.”
“Yeah, well, maybe . . .” Willow attempted
She never got to finish her sentence because, unbeknownst to all three of them, a Parob walked up behind her and dragged her away while the others were distracted. Beth looked at the building carefully.
“If the talismans might still be in place,” she pondered out loud, “if that’s the deal then we need to find a way to . . .”
Just then Beth was grabbed from behind to. this normally wouldn’t be a problem for a ghost but for some reason this Parob was able to get a grip tight enough that she couldn’t break free from. Xander looked at the building annoyed
“A way to what?” he said anxiously, “C’mon Beth I need you on my side. We got to have total focus if we’re gonna break into this place.”
There was silence behind him. curious Xander turned around.
“Guys?” He asked
Both willow and Beth had disappeared. Xander looked at the area behind him anxiously
“Guys?” he asked again
Suddenly he heard some muffled screams coming from the direction. Xander looked around sharply to see Willow and Beth being dragged against their will into the factory.
“Oh hell.” Xander exclaimed quietly
