CLEM ISLAND 200 MILES WEST
OF EASTER ISLAND - 2032
Clem stands next to his brother near the runway. His brother, Ron, points to the approaching landing lights of the first plane coming in through the night sky.
RON-
"Look, Clem....da plane, da plane." They laugh at the pop culture refrence. The plane lands and shut off the engines as the other planes were coming in. There were also twenty of them in all. Buffy was the first one off, followed by Spike. Buffy runs up and gives Clem a big hug. Clem shakes hands with Spike and hugs Kennedy and William, his godchildren. After everyone is unloaded, they go into the huge seaside mansion for some food and rest.
DAWN-
"Clem, it's still amazes me....all of the humans that have played the lotto, and you won it. How did you get the money?"
CLEM-
"Oh, Angel helped with that law firm he was running....you know before he shut the whole thing down. I bought this place, moved my brother here from Cleveland, and hired a bartender for guests." Dawn looks over to see an ederly Willy working the bar.
DAWN-
"Willy the Snitch?"
CLEM-
"Oh, he's a great worker. His just a little behind on the times....he's even got a fully working DVD."
DAWN-
"A DVD? I haven't seen one of those in years."
KENNEDY-
"What's a DVD?"
BUFFY-
"People used to use those to play movies on a TV."
WILLIAM-
"A regular TV, like the one daddy has in the closet."
BUFFY-
"Spike, you told me you got rid of that piece of junk."
SPIKE-
"I did....I was....it's gone now, isn't." Buffy gives him the glare.
The next morning, most of the gang is enjoying playing at the beach. William is trying to show Angel how to operate the holoTV in the basement.
WILLIAM-
"Okay...you push this button to play the movie." A hologram of Barry Manilow comes up and he starts signing. Spike walks in.
SPIKE-
"Oh, bloody hell...." William drops the remote on the couch and grabs a jar full of coins. "Your charging me for that?" Spike drops in some coins and runs off. Angel looks at the jar. "It's a swearing jar."
ANGEL-
"Ah....how many do you have so far?"
SPIKE-
"Fifteen. Damn kids." Angel points to the swear jar and Spike flips him off.
In the living room, William and Kennedy are playing. One of the bad sides about being half vampire has that they couldn't play in direct sunlight. Soon, they would grow and get old, but most of the things that hurt vampires could hurt them. Suddenly, they drop their toys.
WILLIAMS-
"Something's...."
KENNEDY-
"....wrong."
SUNNYDALE SINK HOLE
The head researcher sprints over to the vidphone.
RESEARCHER-
"Mr. President, we have found them and they are both still intact." The researcher looks down at the Stork's Spell Book, and a cheerleading statue....a statue that has moving eyes.
