VENICE, ITALY - 2032
Dawn and Maple stare at the city from the balcony. Maple looks at her aunt, she looks older than her 47 years. Of course, hardly anyone had slept in four days.
DAWN-
"We can't stay for long...Wood will track us here, and the whole mess will start again. After sundown, I'll ask Angel and Spike if they know anyplace." Suddenly, an idea hits Maple.
MAPLE-
"Wait....what about Clem? Didn't he buy that island in the South Pacific?"
DAWN-
"That's right....can you vidphone him. Wood never meet Clem, and probably doesn't know about the island. Call him, and explain the situation. Oh and tell him that we have a pregnant woman coming with us."
MAPLE-
"Woman? I think it's women. Didn't Gia tell you...she's pregnant."
DAWN-
"No...she has said anything about it."
MAPLE-
"Well...don't worry, I'll explain everything to him."
DAWN-
"Thanks."
MONTERREY AIRPORT
Air Force One parks at the stairs and Wood steps off and head to the waiting limo. Monterrey was closest to the Sunnydale Sinkhole Crater. He laughed at the thought of the Department of the Interior actually put the sinkhole in travel books. They even had a gift shop on the south rim. One of his aides opened a laptop.
AIDE-
"Sir, the police have secured the gift shop and the crater is closed to visitors."
WOOD-
"Cover?"
AIDE-
"A tanker truck with toxic waste overturned."
WOOD-
"Good enough. Have the research team start searching the bottom for anything we can use against the Watcher's Council."
AIDE-
"What are you hoping to find?"
WOOD-
"A holy grail." He takes out a book and opens it to a page filled with spells. "We need a witch."
AIDE-
"Yes sir. Our first choice was Amy Madison, but she was killed by Rosenberg ten years ago."
WOOD-
"No, not Madison. Find me this man." Wood hands the aide a picture of Andrew. "And this vampire." It's a picture of Drusilla.
