Dawn was unpacking her small bag have she carried with her. A knock comes on the door, and Xander enters.
XANDER-
"Does the general what some company?"
DAWN-
"Only on one condition: you drop the rank while I'm here. "
XANDER-
"Okay....So, what was it like?"
DAWN-
"Furtile, I'm afraid. It's just like the movies....Darth Vader and everything."
XANDER-
"Vader. Really?" Dawn points to the red scare of her face. "Oh...I'm sorry."
DAWN-
"No worries. It happened, and that's it. So, war stories?"
XANDER-
"No...unless you need to." Dawn nods her head, and Xander sits down on the bed next to her.
DAWN-
"I was leading a batallion in an Invasion of Coruscant...."
CORUSCANT
Dawn is slicing through Storm Trooper after Storm Trooper. The Rebel soldiers were also doing their jobs, but they were losing more than they had expected. Dawn jumps up to a second balcony to find Vader waiting for her with his red lightsaber lit.
VADER-
"I believed that Kenobi and Yoda were the last until you showed up General Summers. Now, they will the last."
DAWN-
"Are we going to talk all day, or are we going to fight?"
Vader answers her by pushing her against the wall with the force. She gets up just in time to block a saber swing that almost knocks her back down again. 'Damn! He's strong, both physical and with the force.' Dawn goes an the offensive, but he blocks every swing and he does step back. As she continues to swing, she makes a mistake and Vader's blade slices into her face. She lets out a blood cuddling scream and Vader uses the force and pushes her back. She falls off the balcony and lands hard on the ground. She looks up with my good eye, the one on her injuried side is swelled shut. She can see Vader standing on the balcony, overlooking her. He is about to jump down and finish her off, when a rebel soilder fires a rocket at Vader. He escapes the explosion, but the rebels were able to save Dawn.
Back to the present. Xander is looking at Dawn, and she notices his eye is tearing up.
DAWN-
"Xander...don't."
XANDER-
"Can't be helped." Dawn hugs Xander. She needed to tell someone about that moment. She believed then that she was going to die. At that moment, she felt something that Jedi were not suppose to feel....she was scared.
