OVER ARIZONA - 2032
Michelle didn't know how long she could keep the plane up. She looked back at Lorne, Vi, and three other girls. Lorne could see the look in her eyes. Michelle was not just a Slayer, but the only one that was also a licensed pilot. Suddenly, the damaged engines started to fail.
MICHELLE-
"Everyone hang on...you're going down." She leveled the plane parrel to the ground and glided the plane to a landing, but it hit hard. The landing gear broke and Michelle was thrown forward, her forehead hitting the control panel - killing her. The plane skidding along the desert floor until it slowed down. Lorne gets the other Slayers out of the plane, as Vi checks on Michelle. After checking, she moves back and gets off the plane.
LORNE-
"Michelle?" Vi just shakes her head, and Lorne puts his arm around her. He looks over her shoulder and sees some Humvees closing on them. They were caught....maybe the others made it across the border.
BATHE, ENGLAND
Team Five of the SEALS was held back at Heathrow Spaceport as a support unit. When none of the teams reported in, the commander decided to investigate. As they approach the estate house, they could see the bodies of their comrades lying on the ground, some with their necks broken and others with arrows sticking in them. They finally entered the house to find that everyone was gone. One of the SEALS try using the computer. As soon as he touched one of the keys, the entire house exploded. Dawn had rigged the self destruct to the computer.
VENICE, ITALY-
Buffy and the others were at Joyce's house. Her son in law, Antonio, had his hands full with a very pregnant Joyce and their guests. Buffy asked a few some of Slayers and Slayers In Training to help him out. Dawn comes running out with some news.
DAWN-
"Buffy! I've got good news and bad news. The good news is that most of our teams in Great Britian and the US are out...."
BUFFY-
"Most?"
DAWN-
"That's the bad news. One of our planes going to Mexico City didn't make it. It was the one that Vi was on. And we just heard a news broadcast that the US Army just captured five members of "The Watcher's Council. I'm sending some people in to get them....the news said that they are being held in a camp just south of Flagstaff."
BUFFY-
"Dawn....we just can't launch an attack against the Army. But, I may have an idea..."
FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA
THREE DAYS LATER
Two black cars pulled through the guardhouse of the makeshift camp. The driver's pulled the vechiles up to the commanding officer's tent. A yound woman in a business suit steps out and walks up to Major Leonard.
LEONARD-
"Ma'am, can I help you?" The woman hands him a CIA ID with her picture and the name 'Kristen Vargas' on it.
KRISTEN-
"Major, you are ordered by the President and the Secretary of Homeland Defense to hand over your prisoners to us now."
LEONARD-
"Agent Vargas...I need to inform my commanding officer in Phoenix."
KRISTEN-
"Major, your commanding officer has already been informed. And as far as your concerned, the prisoners WILL be turned over to me....and we were never here."
The soldiers escort Lorne, Vi, and the other three Slayers under heavy guard to the waiting cars. They are pushed in and the cars drive off. Lorne is in the backseat of the first car with Vi. She looks over to him...and he's smiling at the driver.
LORNE-
"It's been a while, Charles."
GUNN-
"Hey...well, Angel called in a favor. Kristen, you might want to check in on your husband." Kristen grabs a radio from under the dashboard.
KRISTEN-
"Sweety, you still back there?"
ALEX (over the radio)-
"Don't worry...you're not getting rid of me that easily."
LORNE-
"Was that Alex?"
KRISTEN-
"Yup...oh...by the way, I'm Kristen Vargas...soon to be Kristen Harris." After Gunn was sure they were not being followed and far awy from Flagstaff, he turns south and in an hour, they enter Mexico.
