Prologue

In 1956, the NATO powers sent their best scientists to Paris, France in hopes that a new weapon could be created to combat the Communist threat. Their solution was called the Telewarper, but every just called it "The Gateway."
The project was a mixture of magic and science. An archway was built and enchanted with various magics. Ideally, the gate could project anything to anywhere in this dimension or any other. They were lacking only one thing. The spell required "a mixture of the blood of a Master and a Slayer."
The scientists used the blood of a Nazi war criminal for "the blood of a Master" and a soldier's blood for "the blood of a Slayer." For after all, they were not familiar with the true meaning of "Master" and "Slayer." Alas, the project was deemed a failure and was sent to a hidden compound in New Mexico. There it set for 42 years.
