NEW YORK - 2032
Faith and Maple watch Riley fall after being shot by Robert. A pair of guards walk up and handcuff them. Robin walks up to Faith...and kisses her on the mouth, but she doesn't kiss back.
ROBIN-
"Sorry, I have to run...I guess I'll destroy the house anyway."
ROBERT-
"Sir...what about the SEALS?"
ROBIN-
"They gave their lives for their country." Robin walks out of the room, and Robert walks up to Faith. He presses the gun barrel against Faith's forehead.
"HEY!!!"
Robert spins around at the voice and is stabbed in the throat with a letter opener. He staggers, drops his gun, and falls dead. Maple and Faith look up to see Riley standing there.
MAPLE-
"Riley? I thought...." Riley unlocks the handcuffs, and then unbuttons his shirt. He is wearing a vest under his clothes.
RILEY-
"Kevlar...always wear it."
FAITH-
"Even when you sleep?"
RILEY-
"Well....when the ex-wife is in town. Come on, we don't have much time." They run down the hallway opposite to wear Robin ran. "If we can get to my plane, we can get to England."
Robin gets in the limo and pulls out the remote from his pocket. He enters the code and pushes the button. High above England, the satellite suddenly begins to fire it's thrusters, and it repositions itself over the North Atlantic. The beam fires. Suddenly, a bright orange beam streaks across the sky over Robin's head, and then his vidphone rings.
ROBIN-
"What?"
TECH (on the vidphone)-
"Sir...uh....the beam....missed the target."
ROBIN-
"No shit. What did it hit?"
TECH-
"Camp David...." Robin shut off the vidphone, and throws it against the ground.
ROBIN-
"GODDAMN YOU, FINN!!!"
OVER THE NORTH ATLANTIC
Riley is flying the supersonic jet himself. Maple is taking to Gia, each filling each other in on their situtations.
MAPLE-
"We'll be there soon. Be careful."
GIA-
"You too, I love you sis, and give Faith my love."
MAPLE-
"I will...and I love you too."
