BATHE, ENGLAND - 2032
Buffy Summers is trying to get her twins ready. Like most ten year olds, they didn't want to wear nice clothes and just play. Spike comes into the room. He looks at her and their children. 'How in the hell did I get so lucky?'
SPIKE-
"How are you, pet?" Buffy runs over to a mirror and looks at her self. "You look beautiful." After Buffy turned 50 a couple of years ago, she has become obsessed with looking younger. And why shouldn't she be, her vampire husband still looked like he was in the late twenties. Willow walks into the room.
KENNEDY-
"AUNT WILLOW!!" The little girl runs up and hugs her favorite aunt.
WILLOW-
"So, Buffy, you're ready?"
BUFFY-
"Yeah....just let me...." Spike puts his hands on her shoulders and turned her around.
SPIKE-
"You're ready...." He gives her a big hug and kiss. "I'll pay my respects after sundown."
Buffy, William, Kennedy, Willow, Gia, Xander, Dawn, Alex, Joyce, and Joyce's husband Antonio Capella stand in front of the three graveyard stones in the backyard. The first grave was Kennedy's, Buffy and Spike's daughters namesake. The second and third ones were the ones that caused Buffy the most heartache. She walks up and puts some flowers on the gravestone marked 'RUPERT GILES'. After all the battles, the end of world scenarios, and fighting demons...it was a heart attack that took her father figure away from her. When she went to put flowers on the third grave, she fell to her knees, and started crying. Dawn rushes up and helps her place the flowers on the gravestone marked 'KENDRA SUMMERS'. Dawn remembered that terrible night when the police came and told Buffy about the Spaceliner accident. Kendra was going back to her job as curator for the Japanese Museum in Tokyo when the Spaceliner crashed into the Pacific Ocean.
After the ceremony, Willow and Gia went to Willow's room. Gia ran into the bathroom and threw up. Willow was taken her medication, to help with after effects from Amy's spells.
WILLOW-
"Sweety, are you okay?"
GIA-
"Yes....mom....there's something I need to tell you."
WILLOW-
"No, you don't....you're pregnant." Gia stared at her mother, how did she know. Wait a minute, she could feel the baby's esseance. "So....is Robert the father?"
GIA-
"Yes." Willow was talking about Gia's current boyfiend, a lawyer with a firm in London.
WILLOW-
"What's he say about it?"
GIA-
"He threw me out of his apartment, and moved to Paris." Willow tighten her grip around the medicine bottle...'Bastard! If I ever get my hands on him' she thought. "Mom...can we not tell the others right away. I need sometime to figure this out."
WILLOW-
"Okay...." Willow hugs her daughter. "Whatever happens, I'm here for you."
GIA-
"I'm keeping the baby....I just want to know how to handle the rest of my life."
WILLOW-
"Don't worry...Oh, Goddess! I'm going to be a grandmother." Willow and Gia both smile at the idea.
Xander Harris and Dr. Dawn Summers-Harris looked at their own kids, they were so grown up. Alex and his finance, Kristen who was a marine biologist, were getting ready to take a Spaceliner back to Miami.
XANDER-
"So, you guys ready?"
ALEX-
"I think so. I'll vid you when we get there." Xander and Alex shakes hands and then hug briefly. Kristen wrapped her arms around Xander's neck.
KRISTEN-
"Bye, dad...it's okay if I call you that, right?"
XANDER-
"I wouldn't have it any other way. We'll be down there in a couple of months to make it offical." Alex hugs Dawn, and then the very pregnant Joyce, and shakes hands with Antonio. Alex and Kristen walk over to the autocar to Heathrow Spaceport.
DAWN-
"Honey, did you hear when they're honeymooning?"
XANDER-
"Yeah...Tranquility City, the Moon."
ANTONIO-
"Sounds like a great place for a second honyemoon."
JOYCE-
"Ohh...are we planning something?"
ANTONIO-
"Well, maybe after the baby comes."
WASHINGTON DC
Maple Rosenberg was getting dressed in her finest business suit. Her partner, both on and off the battlefield, Faith Lehane was lying on the bed in her underwear and sports bra.
MAPLE-
"Faith, you have to get ready."
FAITH-
"No way....I'm not seeing him."
MAPLE-
"Sweety, that was fourteen years ago."
FAITH-
"So."
MAPLE-
"Okay...okay...I'll go by myself. If Robin mentions to Dawn that you weren't there...I'll say you were sick of something."
FAITH-
"Have fun."
Maple leaves the five star hotel suite, and goes down to the street where an autocar with US government licence plates on it.
