Giles awoke to the sound of pounding at his door.
"Who in bloody hell would be knocking on my door at this hour?" Giles asked out loud when he saw that it was 1:30 a.m. He yanked open the door and was quite startled when he saw who his visitor was. "A-Angel," he said.
"Rupert, I need your help," Angel said.
"Oh, well all-all right. D-do come in," Giles said.
"Do you have any books on my curse? I need to find out everything I can about it."
"What exactly do you want to know about it?"
"I don't know. Not yet. That's why I need you to help me find out more about it."
"I'll start right away. I'll have Buffy let you know if I find anything."
"No. Don't tell Buffy anything about this."
"Well, um-"
"I'll stop at the library after hours soon."
"All-all right-"
"Thank you, Rupert. I'm sorry for disturbing your sleep."
Angel disappeared, and Giles shut the door, a bewildered expression on his face.
