“Giles,” Dawn said, snapping the watcher out of the trance he was in. He had been in the library sifting through books, trying to find something to stop what was happening.
“Hello, Dawn.”
“You okay?” she asked as she walked over and sat next to him.
“Yes, just tired and frustrated.”
“Research, not going so well?”
I’m afraid not. Is there something you wanted help with?”
“Yeah, I found this,” Dawn said, talking out the small vial.
“Where did you get that?”
“I found it on the floor in the Great Hall.”
“This is wonderful,” Giles said, taking the vial and beginning to leave.
“What’s going on?” she asked but he had already left, “Your welcome.”

“Life’s too short,” Fred said as she walked in the classroom Wesley occupied at the moment.
He turned around, “Yes, yes it is.”
“So you have to learn to live in the moment sometimes and not always wait.”
“I suppose,” he said as she stepped closer to him.
“Have you noticed anything about me? Something different?”
“Ummm…is this a trick question?”
Fred sighed, “Have you noticed any signals?”
“Signals?”
Fred moved forward and kissed him, “That was a signal. Clear enough?”
“I’m afraid not,” he said as he pulled her body close to his and kissed her.

Tara walked into the bathroom and over to one of the many sinks. She turned on the water and looked in the mirror. Just as she was about to put her hands under the water she looked down and gasped. It was blood red. She walked over to another sink and turned on the faucet, it ran red as well. She kept doing it until they were all turned on and running.
“Oh, god,” she ran to the door and screamed for help, “Someone help!”
Spike, Willow, and Buffy ran down the hall and into the bathroom.
“What’s wrong?” Buffy asked and then she noticed the red water.
“Is it blood?” Willow asked.
Spike dipped a finger in the red substance and brought it to his nose, “Its blood and its human.”
“I think I’m going to throw up,” Tara said, putting her hand over her mouth. Willow put her arm around her and tired to comfort her but Tara ran into one of the stalls.
“What is this?” Willow asked, “Who would do this?”
“And the blood of the damned will run,” Buffy echoed Giles’s words as she sinks began to overflow and the blood spilled on to the floor.

“They want to close Hogwarts?” Dawn said. She was sitting with Harry and Connor in the boy’s dormitories, “Can they do that?”
“They never have before but they’ve threatened to. If they can’t stop whatever’s coming…” Harry said. He looked worried.
“Hey, Buffy will stop it. She always wins and besides that’s when she’s on her own now she has 2 badass wiccas, 2 vampires with souls, an ex-vengeance demon, and….” Dawn started.
“And us on her side,” Connor said. Dawn and Harry looked at him, “You don’t think I was I was born from 2 vampires and I didn’t get any superpowers right?”
Dawn laughed.

Giles dumped the contents of the bottle into a bowl.
“So we just go inside and we see what ever Dumbledore knew about this beast?” Cordy asked.
“Basically,” Giles said.
“So who’s going inside?” Xander asked. Giles looked at him, “Hey, I’m not going in there.”
“I’m going,” Angel said.
“Oh, I lost major bravery points right there didn’t I,” Xander said.
“Big time,” Cordy said, patting him on the back as Angel put his hand in the liquid and was sucked inside.

“Hey, are you feeling any better,” Willow asked Tara.
“Yeah,” Tara replied, “I don’t handle blood very well.”
“I noticed,” Willow said, sitting on the bed next to Tara and talking her hand.
Tara looked at Willow and their eyes met, “I-I understand if you don’t want this if you want someone else. You have to be with the person you love.”
“I am,” Willow whispered as she moved forward and kissed a very happy Tara.
They pulled apart and Tara whispered, “Nox totalis.” In response all the lights went off.
