Just after sundown a knock sounded on the door to Revello Drive. Giles opened it to find Angel
standing on the doorstep. "Good evening, uh come in"
He motioned for Angel to go through into the lounge with one hand and closed the door with
the other. In the lounge sat Spike and Willow. Angel took the armchair.
Giles had just sat down when there was another knock at the door.
Xander walked in followed by Anya just as Giles was getting up. "Look about earlier, i'm really
sorry. I didn't mean to be all snappy at you guys." Willow grinned "Apology accepted, now the
spell I thought of doing will display a window. Through this we should be able to see the new
slayer"
Anya sat down on Xanders lap "So how will we know where to find her? The spell will show us
who she is but not where"
Giles nodded " Yes but Willow is hoping we can spot a small detail so that she can run a search
on her computer"
Spike recrossed his legs "So what are we gonna do bout getting her here?"
"Well once we know who she is we'll decide the next step" replied Giles
Willow stood with a candle in one hand and a piece of wood in the other. "Quiet you guys"
She set alight the wood with the candle and slowly drew a square in front of her. "I open this
window to find the young one. With intentions pure and a heart that is true. The faithfull are
looking, seeking you"
With her last word the outline of the square began to glow softly and Willow gently extinguished
the wood.
" Guys i think it's worked - come and see - but dont touch the square"
The others made their way round and stood behind her. In the window they could see a sports
hall. Inside was a group of about 28 girls. They were playing basketball.
Willow frowned. " Giles, i could work on a spell to narrow itt down" Giles stood and watched the
window.
Xander pointed at a tall, thin girl with long blonde hair. " I'm thinking that one"
Angel shook his head "She's awkward - you wan't to look for someone who's fluid, comfortable
in their own skin"
Giles watched the girls for a few seconds before commenting "Theres a few who are fluid though
look" he pointed to another tall girl - this time dark. "I've been watching her, she moves like a
slayer." As he was saying this the teacher at the side of the court pulled one ofthe girls off and
sent on a small blonde girl.
Spike pointed at her "Her" he said. The others watched her as she ran
up the court towards the ball. As the other team shot she caught the ball and made a fast break
down to the other end of the court - scoring both a hoop and the rebound. They watched as
she repeated the trick several times before the whistle blew. They watched in silence as the girls
exited the hall into a coridoor and then went into the changing rooms.
At this point Willow waved her hand and the window disappeared. " I saw a name - Orden High
School - England obviously - i'll run a search and work on the new spell"
Giles stood " Anyone want a drink?"
