OUTSIDE OF BATHE, ENGLAND - 2017
Carnage is everywhere, both demon guards and now former slaves fall. Buffy and the others make their way to the entrance to the demon's chambers. Kennedy and Maple make it through as the others fend off the demons.
Kendra, Joyce, Gia and Alex run into the main chamber. It's a large, circular room with knives pointing out of the walls. Suddenly, all four of the teens are thown against the wall and tied up with vines and tree roots. The Demon is standing on a rock balcony above them.
DEMON-
"FOOLS! You think you can destroy me. Your parents are dead, as well as your sister....(Maple and Kennedy run into the room with Kennedy aiming a crossbow at the demon)....oh crap." Kennedy pulls the trigger and the demon falls, hit by the arrow. Maple goes to her family and she begins to try to cut them loose.
ALEX-
"We....we thought you were dead!"
MAPLE-
"That's what we wanted them to think, didn't count on you guys going 'Gladitor' on us." Kennedy looks at the demon, who is getting up with a loaded crossbow. He's aiming it at Maple, Kennedy moves and grabs her. Kennedy and Maple are looking into each other eyes when Maple feels blood splatter on her shirt. She looks down and sees an arrowhead sticking out of Kennedy's chest. She looks back into Kennedy's eyes. "NO! GODDESS, NO!!!!" Kennedy falls to the ground and Maple cradles her.
MAPLE-
"KENNEDY! No, please, no. Ken....mom? (Kennedy's eyes begin to fill up with tears). Mom, you have to....please." Kennedy touches her cheek, and breaths her last breath. The demon is reloading his crossbow. Maple gently lays Kennedy's head on the ground, and opens her eyes at the demon. They are completely black.
Maple flicks her wrist, and the demon's crossbow flies across the room. She then closes her eyes, and the demon screams in pain. His chest catches fire and he burns into ashes. Kendra, Joyce, Gia, and Alex are releashed from the vines and tree roots. Buffy and the others rush into the room. Willow joins Maple and Gia, crying over Kennedy's body.
