BATHE, ENGLAND - 2017
Buffy tells Clem to the whole story. With every passing moment, the gentle demon is getting more and more upset. Halfway through the story, he needs to seat down.
BUFFY-
"Clem, we need weapons, and a quick route through the woods. Will you help, please?" Clem gets up and pushes a button, the wall slides back and a panel comes forward revealing all sorts os swords, axes, staffs, crossbow, and even a few firearms. "Clem why do have all these..."
CLEM-
"I knew this may happen one day. So, I started collecting...you know just in case."
BUFFY-
"We still need that route..." Clem grabs a pistol from the wall and puts it in his belt.
CLEM-
"I'll show you myself."
BUFFY-
"Clem, sweety, your not a fighter...and besides we need someone to watch over Maple." Maple walks up and grabs a sword.
MAPLE-
"He will be."
BUFFY-
"Maple...." Kennedy and Willow walk up behind Buffy.
KENNEDY-
"Buffy, she's coming."
Inside the cavern, slaves are working themselves to death. Alex gathers the others away him. He hugs Kendra, who has been crying since the guard showed her the destroyed house.
ALEX-
"We need to do something."
GIA-
"What....everyone is dead."
ALEX-
"Which is why we must do it. The slaves outnumber the guards by at least 5 to 1. All we have to do...."
JOYCE-
"....is what? Get killed. How will that help?"
ALEX-
"Our parents saved this miserable world more times than anyone can count. We are the children os Slayers, Watchers, Wiccans, and the best demon fighters in history. They have taught us, so we could take our places when it was our time. If we stay here...the world may loss it all. We have to escape, but I can't leave these people behind."
GIA-
"So, what do we do?"
ALEX-
"What all slaves did in time....revolt."
