BATHE, ENGLAND - 2017
The house was a burning shell of it's former self. It had stood for over a hundred years, and now it was gone. The river that ran behind the estate was littered into debris. Suddenly, a tree moves towards the side and a metal door was opened. Spike and Buffy exited the escape tunnel, followed by the others. Giles looked back at the house. It was orgainally his father's. The group started walking down the road, not saying a word. Their clothes, possessions, and weapons were all in the house.
MAPLE-
"i can't believe that we destroyed the house."
BUFFY-
"That's what the self destruct was installed for."
WILLOW-
"Buffy, where are we going to go?"
Buffy knocks on a door, and the it opens. Clem smiles big when he sees everyone.
CLEM-
"Hi, guys, come on in...and just in time too. They'll have a 'Firefly' marathon and all four SERENITY movies."
MAPLE-
"UNCLE CLEM!!!" She hugs the cuddly demon. "How are you?"
CLEM-
"Oh, I'm good. Just got my the new upgrade HOLOTV, and....a brand new Playstation 5! Wanna play." Maple frowns, and Clem is taken back. "What's wrong? Where is everyone else?" Buffy steps forward to tell him the awful news.
A whip cracks against Alex's back and he winces in pain.
JOYCE-
"LEAVE HIM ALONE!!" The demon guard walks up to Joyce and he backhands her in the face, splitting her lip. Kendra runs over to her cousin, and holds her. She looks over at Gia, who is ignoring a demon guard's advances.
KENDRA-
"You wait until my mum gets here. I wanna see her kill you." The guard just laughs at her, and then he grabs her and drags her to where she can see the destroyed house.
GUARD-
"Your mother and her kind are all dead. Get back to work." He throws Kendra to the ground and walks off. Kendra buries her head into the dirt, and cried.
