I move through the streets of his old hometown, occassionly blasting a Deadite with my Boomstick. Finally, I reach the University. I enter through a side door, and hear a woman screaming. I go to the room where the scream came from. A woman is in the corner with a Deadite standing over her. I blast the Deadite and help the woman up.
ASH-
"You okay?"
WOMAN-
"Yes, who are you?"
ASH-
"Name's Williams, Ash Williams. And you?"
WOMAN-
"I'm Professor Diana Cooper, Ancient Languages Department."
ASH-
"Ancient Languages, uh? Just wondering, you haven't played an old reel to reel tape containing...oh...I don't know, a demonic passage that could bring about the end of the world."
DIANA-
"No, it was a CD-ROM that had Professor Knowby's translation of...."
ASH-
"I know, I know...the Book of the Dead. So, ugly got an upgrade, huh? Why in the hell would you play it anyway after what happened to this town before?"
DIANA-
"Wait...Ash Williams? You're that Ash? It's an honor to meet you!"
ASH-
"Look, lady, stop kissing my ass, and answer the question."
DIANA-
"Oh...yes...sorry. You see the investigation was being ran by visiting professor. Oh, there he is. Professor Ethan Rayne." Rayne....that name sounded familar, I glance over to the door where Diana is pointing.
ETHAN-
"Well, the title of 'Professor' was a little misleading. I see that the Slayer sent her 'old man' to take care of things." I rack my brain, trying to think of where I have heard the name Rayne before...and it hits me. Giles old rival. I march over to the egghead, and grab him by the shirt.
ASH-
"Alright, 'Chicken Little' explain this mess."
