Willow clung to Xander who was desperately trying to press himself as tightly against his
bedroom wall. He'd already taken a few punches because he'd been too close to Buffy #3, and
he'd learned his lesson.

"What should we do, Xander?" Willow whispered, timidly. He shook his head.

"I dunno."

Buffy #2 swung her fist at #3, but she blocked it perfectly. Spinning around, #2 roundhoused
into her opponent, hoping to hit her straight in the stomach, but her kick was blocked too.

"My turn," #3 decided. As #2 tried to punch her once more, she grabbed her wrist, twirling her
around and holding her tightly against herself. "This is what I'll do to your friend when I find her,"
she said, staring coolly over at Xander. Reaching into her pants, she pulled out a gleaming knife,
and began to rub it against #2's stomach. Smiling sweetly, she swiped the blade quickly through
the air, so fast that Willow and Xander couldn't see the damage until blood bloomed in a cross
shape on the front of #2's ragged smock.

"That's what you get for being a tattle-tail," #3 taunted, running the knife through her fingers.
Grabbing her prisoner's jaw, she giggled mischievously. "Bye bye, now." She forced her hand
upwards, snapping #2's head back with a horrifying cracking sound.

Willow cringed against Xander's chest as Buffy #2 fell limply to the ground.

"Tell Buffy I send my love," #3 cackled. Shoving her bloody dagger back into her belt, she
flicked her hair behind her shoulders and leapt through Xander's open window, screaming like
Xena.

Xander slid dazedly down the wall, thudding hard against the floor.

"How will I explain the dead body to my mom?" he asked blankly. "Modern art?" Willow
tapped Xander on the shoulder.

"I think you should take a look at this," she murmured.

The clone in the middle of the floor was quivering strangely, as if it were Jell-O.

"What the...?" Xander gasped in disbelief. The body before him was collapsing, imploding into a
puddle of clear liquid which began to seep into his carpet, leaving a small cotton smock and long
black cloak behind.

"Don't need to worry about the funeral cost no more," Xander whispered through pursed lips.
Willow frowned at him.

"What about Buffy? We need to warn her!" Xander nodded in agreement as he bent over and
scooped the handset of his phone off of the floor. Dialling Buffy's number again frantically, he
pressed the receiver to his ear.

"Hey Mrs Summers; it's Xander again. Look, I was wondering if Buffy..." The colour ran from
Xander's cheeks. "She did what?! Went out to help me and Willow...with...a project?! Uh,
okay. Thanks." Xander put the phone back in its cradle.

"She's coming here, Will. Everything's gonna be fine."

"But what if Bad Buffy finds her?"

"No problem! Good Buffy'll kick Bad Buffy's ass." Xander draped an arm around Willow,
hugging her close. "She'll be here any minute."
