Chp; 23, Taken

Emma’s eyes were completely black. Everything around her touched by the black light. The things around then suddenly everything that was trying turn to dust went back to it’s normal form. The light soaked back into Emma.
Her veins that were visible turned black. She looked at the veins with amazement, her eyes wide open. The veins went back to normal and her eyes slowly changed to a lighter electric blue color. She closed her eyes, they felt strained, quickly opening them.
Emma went into the bathroom and looked at the mirror. She saw her eyes that color and smiled, she laughed under her breath. The chipped black fingernail polish became whole again. Emma opened her mouth wider, fangs, not going away. Her hair streaked itself black all of a sudden.
“Interesting,” said Emma, she smiled at the mirror, “I could get used to this.”

Spike fell off the couch. Wesley took in a deep breath and Willow feel backwards from the bar on her butt, “What was that?”
“Something bad,” said Wesley going over to Spike and helping him up onto the couch.
Spike touch his side wound and blood leaked on his hands. Conner leaped over the banister on the second floor landing on the purple thing, “You guys see that?” he asked.
“Yeah,” said Spike kind of surprised by Conner’s landing.
Their eyes were turned towards what caused it. Emma coming down the stairs towards them. She ran her hand down the wall as she walked towards them. The wall crumbled then reformed in the places she touched.
Emma wore her black boots now. Leading up to her long black leather pants, to her black leather belt with the holes in it, [studded?] Up to her shirt, black. The long-sleeves were made of red and black torn lace going around her arms and black silk ribbons. Up to her face.
Emma went towards Spike. Nobody in there made a sound. Emma put her hand out to Spike and Spike’s wounds started to heal instantly. Emma put her hand down and started walking of the Hyperion.

Dawn held Buffy’s hand as Buffy lay on the bed of the ISU floor. She was actually not doing too well. Faith was awake, she was sitting in a wheel chair next to Buffy. Talking with Dawn.
“Dawn,” said Faith, “She fought well.”
“I don’t want to hear that,” said Dawn.
“She did,” said Faith, “Your big sis knew what she was doing.”
“What makes you think that Buffy is going to die?” asked Dawn.
“I didn’t say she was Dawn,” said Faith.
The water in the cup that Faith held shook. Faith looked down at it as the lights started flipping. Then everything went back to normal, “What’s that?” asked Dawn.
Emma walked down the hospital hall like she owned the place. Her eyes made people back away. Spike, Wesley, Willow, and Conner ran behind her following her. Buffy’s door opened slowly and Emma walked in.
“Don’t hurt Buffy,” said Dawn standing up in front of Emma.
Emma looked at Dawn, she smiled and waved her hand quickly. Dawn slid across the floor into the vacant bed next to Buffy’s, “NO!!” screamed Dawn.
“Emma don’t!!” demanded Spike.
“Be quiet,” hissed Emma as they ran in.
She waved her hand and they slammed against the wall behind her. Emma looked back to Buffy, to Faith.
“What the hell?” questioned Faith.
Emma smiled, “Wake up slayer,” she brought her hand out and Buffy’s wounds quickly healed. Buffy looked like Spike, like she’d never been in battles. Buffy looked at Emma. Emma waved her hand and Faith’s wounds healed. Emma closed her eyes and she was gone.
“What’s going on?” started Buffy.
“I have no idea,” said Wesley.
“Something different,” said Conner.
Dawn walked back over, “Is she evil?”
“What would have done this?” asked Willow.
“Who knows?” questioned Spike.

“Hi boys,” said Emma walking through the middle of the temple. She put her hands out and the Torches’ fire went up taller and wind blew through the place. The ground shook, she looked at the Harvester, “Aren’t you going to Welcome me?”
The Harvester looked to Angelus, “What’s she doing here?” The Harvester looked to Angelus and put his hand up and Angelus flew into his grasp, “That gift.”
“She knew where to find us because of the abilities I guess,” said Angelus.
“I want to have fun,” she sneered, “I can blow things by blinking,” her sneer became a smile of wonder, excitement.
“This is not what I ordered,” said The Harvester.
Emma waved her hand and the Harvester let go of Angelus going back a pain searing through his immortal side, “I’d back off, no one needs to kill anyone, at least, on the evil side.”
Angelus rubbed his throat, “She’ll help us, won’t you?”
“Of course, as long as I can do anything,” she smiled.
“Just the answer we want don’t we?” asked Angelus.
“I didn’t order this,” said The Harvester the ground shaking with his rage.
Emma walked towards him, “Come on, Harvester, really, you don’t think we’d be good allies.”
“Angelus, you have no idea what you’ve just done,” said The Harvester.
“Actually I do,” said Angelus, “You know what you want, I know what I want.”
Emma pushed her finger against the Harvester’s large, rock like chest and pushed him towards his throne, “I could be anything, I can do anything, but I bother to be here, waiting for orders from someone I could easily kill right now.”
“Oh, no my dear,” he said, “You may be able to hurt me, but death is not what comes of me.”
“What then?” asked Emma.
“That’s for me to hold secret,” said replied The Harvester.
“What do you think I should do?” asked Emma, “Just sit around like you, because if that’s the answer, I’ll just have to go play with some old friends.”
“No,” said the Harvester.
“How do we know we can trust her?” asked Lilah coming of the darkness.
“I scratch your back, you scratch mines I guess, mines already being scratched,” said Emma, “Come on, do you really think I was going to try and be good, I was blind, a half fooled dimwit. Now I have knowledge I couldn’t of dreamed of. I wouldn’t give this up.”
“Really?” taunted The Harvester, Emma had by that time had her hand away from his chest, he walked towards her, “You’d do anything?”
“Probably, depends,” she said.
“I don’t trust her either, master,” said Gunn coming out of one of the corners.
“I’ve had that,” she looked up at the Harvester, “Nobody trust me, thinks I’m evil, and evil thinks I’m good. I know what I am, evil, pure and simple,” Emma smiled to him, “I like feeling the kill, sinking my teeth into an innocent, feeling their warm blood drip down my throat. I mean isn’t that the whole point, the kill. Satisfaction of knowing what you did is that good, for you.”
“She sounds evil to me, I mean, come on big fellow, I wouldn’t have given her your gift if it wasn’t for her being a good candidate,” replied Angelus.
“Naturally I don’t care what happens, as long as people get scared.
The Harvester put his hands across his chest, “This Is what you could, your full form, you could do more than just scare.”
Emma circled The Harvester, “I mean all is fun, I could destroy the world, actually though,” she sat down at his thrown, “I don’t like be obvious.”

Conner walked up to Emma’s room, he looked around, saw the fixed Apple, like Emma hadn’t bitten out of it.
“She’s evil, I can feel it,” said Cordelia from behind Emma.
“She’s not evil,” said Conner, “Leave me alone.”
“Emma is, I’ve never felt that much power, you know what I mean,” Cordelia went up to him, “You feel it when you stand near her, she makes your skin tingle.”
“So, a lot does,” said Conner.
“Oh, I forgot,” said Cordelia sarcastically, “You’ve got the horniness of a teenager.”
“Shut up,” said Conner, “We’ll fix this,” he went towards the door.
“Conner, don’t walk away from me!”
Conner walked out of the room and she followed behind him pestering him, “Stop pestering me.”
“Conner,” she followed him down the hall, “Don’t deny what’s right there, she’s evil, she’ll need to be taken down, you’ll be the only one-”
She stopped talking Conner listened to Willow talking with the group, “Okay, I take you all felt what was going on.”
“Something big,” said Spike.
“Is she evil or not?” asked Dawn.
“None of us know,” said Wesley.
“She might have wanted us healed so she could play with us for awhile,” said Faith.
“It’s reasonable,” said Willow.
“There’s nothing reasonable about this,” said Buffy.
“Something bad is going to happen,” stated Dawn.
“We’re going to fix this,” ordered Buffy, “That’s just they way things are, we have to fix this.”
“Emma’s too strong, if she’s evil then-”
“What if she’s not,” said Conner going down the stairs holding the apple.
“Than she’ll tell us,” said Willow.
“What if she decides not to tell us?” asked Dawn.
“Then we find out,” said Spike.
“There has to be some sign,” sighed Wesley, “With The Harvester, that’ll just make things worse.”
“And we need to rein soul Angelus,” said Willow.
“Why don’t you just give up on Angelus!” demanded Conner, his eyes went yellow, “I think this has something to do with it.”
“Apple?” asked Wesley taking it.
“How can we find out if this apple has anything to do with it?” asked Dawn.
“I don’t know,” said Conner, his eyes went back to normal.
“Angelus is the least of our worries,” said Buffy.
“He almost killed you,” ranted Spike.
“I’ve almost been killed a lot of times Spike,” said Buffy.
“But this time was different,” said Spike.
“Just because you couldn’t save me doesn’t mean it was different,” said Buffy.

Night came back. Like a nasty visitor. One of those that just won’t leave. They hadn’t heard anything but the lamps shaking from miner earthquakes. Miner, nothing going to happen to them. At the time.
Willow was looking through her book on the bar, Wesley came up to her, “That spell.”
“What Spell?” asked Wesley going over to her.
“The one to put Angel back, it’s gone,” said Willow.
“Have you been down here all day?” asked Willow.
“Well when I was looking through the magic shops for the Orb, kind of wasn’t watching the book,” answered Willow.
“Angelus must of come around,” said Wesley, “He’s snuck in before, took all my books unfortunately.”
“I don’t think we’ll make it,” blurted Willow.
“What, not make it?”
“What if this is the real end.”
“I highly doubt that. Good always prevails,” said Wesley, “Or usually.”
“Usually not without loosing something, someone.”
“We’ve all lost love ones,” sighed Wesley, “Angelus has reminded us of some as well.”
“To Emma as well,” she sighed closing her book.
“No, to evil, things enter our lives and that’s just how things happen, both teams have suffered casualties, and with this much going on it can’t be the end, I just don’t believe it.”
“But so much is going on Wes, you can’t deny that,” stated Willow turning to him.
“I say fight the good fight, something I’ve heard Gunn say many times. We are on the side of good, no one else seems to be able to fix life the way it is. So, we keep fighting,” said Wesley.
“I know that, but what do we do, we loose, everyone looses.”
“But this time we can’t loose,” said Wesley.
“Wesley but we can, that’s the surrounding point, every time we can loose, but maybe, just maybe this time, we won’t win, our lucky rabbit’s foot is all out of it’s luckiness,” said Willow.
“You shouldn’t be so down, we get on the job and we keep going.”

Angelus seemed to want to follow Emma where ever she went. He sat in a club, drinking a nice Martini, listening to the music. Seeing the people dance. His eyes met with the groups’. As soon as they’d walked in.
“Angelus,” said Conner.
“He’s here, so I thought Emma was here-” he was distracted by the song, “Emma.”
They turned their attention also when the singing started. It was Emma, Spike knew her pretty voice, [I like Emma to sing, makes her sound beautiful, she sings, Evanescence: Everybody’s Fool]

Perfect by nature
Icons of self indulgence
Just what we all need
More lies about a world that

Never was and never will be
Have you no shame don't you see me
You know you've got everybody fooled

Look here she comes now/
Bow down and stare in wonder/
Oh how we love you/
No flaws when you're pretending/
But now i know she/

“She sings,” said Buffy.

Never was and never will be
You don't know how you've betrayed me
And somehow you've got everybody fooled

Without the mask where will you hide
Can't find yourself lost in your lie

I know the truth now
I know who you are
and I don't love you anymore

It never was and never will be
You don't know how you've betrayed me
And somehow you've got everybody fooled

It never was and never will be
You're not real and you can't save me
Somehow now you're everybody's fool

Emma stopped the singing and jumped off the stage. Emma danced seductively through the crowd then walked over to Angelus. She smiled widely towards him and went to him, “I want to do something fun.”
“You’re smart enough to figure out on your own,” replied Angelus.
Spike and them watched and walked over to Angelus and Emma, “Emma, what are you doing?”
Emma looked at them, they came up to Angelus, “Why are you here with him?” asked Conner.
“Because I’ve turned over a new leaf,” she smiled, her eyes well seen in the dark, “You could say I’m a different person.”
“Leather that’s nice,” said Dawn.
“Thanks,” scoffed Emma.
“Emma you don’t have to be evil,” said Buffy, “You’re good, we understood that, we trust you.”
“But Mummy, I want to be bad,” she smiled, taunting Buffy.
“You’ve been killing?” asked Conner.
“Not yet,” his Emma.
“Great idea,” smiled Angelus.
“ So much power, and what to do, I know,“ she clapped her hands together and the doors locked themselves with a loud clank sound, “Hold up the place.”
They looked around and everyone stopped what they were doing, “You haven’t really seen me kill, have you, you’ve just seen what I’ve done on a happy day.”
“Stop this,” said Faith.
“Like you care, hot shot slayer, always on a roll,” people were going to the doors trying to open them, “Think you’re tough and strong and bad.”
“What are you going to do Emma?” asked Spike, “If it’s evil-”
“I’m going to kill everyone in her, but you,” said Emma looking at the group, walking towards them threateningly.
“We won’t let you,” said Dawn gripping the sword she held in her hand.
“I’d like to see you try and stop me,” she sneered, “You know nothing about what I can do now.”
Angelus was laughing, “Sorry,” stated Buffy.
“About what, I mean I could kill you so quickly, but I’ve always been one to toy for a awhile,” said Emma, “Why be sorry.”
“This,” said Buffy, she swung her fist at her Emma caught her arm and bent it behind Buffy’s back.
“Oh, we’re bonding,” she said In a crazy, hyper manner.
Emma threw her up in the air making her land on the second story part of the club. On the walk way Buffy landed on her back. Spike threw a punch at Emma she with a flowing manner of movements punched him in the chest. And He flipped back then she swung her right leg up and kicked him in the head. Spike was thrown over the crowd of people.
Angelus just sat back down to watch, he was drinking a drink. Sat there solemnly watching. Dawn tried to cut her head off and the sword she bore broke as soon as it touched Emma’s neck then Emma grabbed her shoved her with ease against a post got the broken sword from her grasp and shoved into Dawn’s stomach.
Dawn bent over blood going down her stomach and her pants.
“DAWN!” yelled Buffy.
Dawn fell to the ground. Faith went towards Emma. Emma swiftly jumped up and kicked Faith across the face flipped backwards landing on her feet. She then punched Faith across the face. Faith landed across the room.
“Just you and me then,” she smiled at Conner.
“I don’t want to fight you,” said Conner.
“If you don’t I’ll kill everyone in here,” she sneered.
Conner dropped his axe and went to push Emma down but she jumped onto the second story. Buffy walked over to her and quickly and easily making sure she didn’t kill Buffy. She used her fist and punched her in the face then stomach. With every blow there was a popping sound, like broken bone and blood splatter came from every point she was hitting.
Emma then grabbed Buffy and tossed her over the edge of the bar. Spike on the top now ran over with Conner and Emma flipped them both, “DAMN I’M NOT EVEN TRYING!!!” Emma’s eyes went yellow and flash. The ground shook and people were thrown across the room and against the walls. People screamed, “Try again!!!!!!”
Conner leaped back up his bruises he got so quickly going away. Emma ducked every punch he threw as she made place shook. Emma knocked Conner off the 2nd story.
Emma kicked Spike to the ground. Then she jumped off the ledge and landed on top of a civilian. Dawn backed away with the people. Dawn cradled Buffy and herself, her wound gushing. Buffy’s face gushed with blood. Buffy helped her the same.
Conner went at Emma. Emma in that same flowing motion punched Conner in the face then raised her leg up quickly kneeing him in the face. Conner flipped backwards from the blow landing on the bar. Emma went over to him and picked him up and tossed him over the 2nd story.
She landed in front of him on all fours. Conner looked up at her. Emma caressed his cheek quickly then with her left hand she back handed him and he flipped over. Emma stood up quickly.
“Remember not to kill them, be gentle,” said Angelus.
“They’ll survive but not the casualties,” smile Emma.
Emma let out a loud scream just for fun. The ground shook. The window broke. People were rolling around in pain. Emma stopped screaming then took in a deep breath and jumped up in a spinning motion throwing her arms out. The walls started to collapse and There was a large flash of light.

Hours later: The place had been leveled. Angelus and Emma were gone. Conner got out from under a piece of rubble. He healed quickly. Then he looked around. There was groaning. Spike climbing out from under a piece of ceiling. Conner came over and healed him.
“Thanks,” said Spike.
Conner lifted up a piece of the wall and Buffy and Dawn lay there breathing. Conner healed them.
“Everyone here,” said Conner as Buffy helped Faith out of the rubble, “Gone, dust.”

“This girl has power!” said Angelus in a hyper way pushing open the doors of the temple, “I’m proud.”
“Oh, I take all the credit,” she hissed.
“What happened?” questioned The Harvester coming out of the chambers.
“I leveled a club and guess what-” started Emma.
“She killed,” laughed Angelus.
“Don’t take my rein, I killed 96 people,” stated Emma.
“Evil, really,” said The Harvester.
“She’s like my pupil,” laughed Angelus, joking and sounding wholesome at the same time.
“You should be my pupil,” laughed Emma looking at Angelus.
“She even smacked around my son. Nice little creep deserved it too,” said Angelus.
“So it’s time you be aloud to play?” questioned The Harvester, “ Is that what I should believe?”
“I like this game,” snarled Emma.
“See, she’s smart,” said Angelus.
“Make them angry,” said The Harvester, “Trick them maybe, just make them hate your guts, like many of my people, my slaves hated I.”
“Alright,” stated Emma.
“Slaves must know their masters,” said The Harvester.
Willow came into the Lobby from Angel’s office, “What happened?” she asked looking at them.
“Emma is truly evil,” sighed Conner sitting on a couch.
“Told you so,” said Cordelia, “But you didn’t listen to me.”
“She leveled an entire club,” said Buffy, “No signs of any of the people.”
“They’re dead,” said Conner, “All dead.”
“Stabbed me in the stomach with my own now broken sword,” stated Dawn.
“Conner healed us,” said Spike.
“She killed 96 people,” sighed Conner, “Killed them.”
“Whoa,” said Willow.
“What about Angelus?” asked Wesley coming into the room.
“With Emma,” said Faith, “Got a little team there going on.”
“Getting to Emma,” said Conner.
“He slipped in right under our noses,” sighed Buffy, “Some how, he made her that way, I know it.”
“As of now,” started Dawn, “Emma’s our biggest threat.”
“No she’s not,” said Conner.
“The most powerful one anyway,” stated Spike.
“Dawn and Spike are both right,” said Buffy.
“She’s not a threat, The Harvester,” said Conner.
“With the way things are going,” said Buffy, “This is a kill mission, Angelus, Emma, we find out away, The Harvester, whatever we can must be done, we must win, and keep the innocent safe.”
“Whoever their Coordinator is must be really messy, cause, from what I here, it’s not really sensible,” said Dawn.
“I do know one thing,” said Wesley, “That Apple did in fact help, It’s part of a spell, called, Synthedicas. It is from back in the old one’s day, a spell created to transfer power. Of course the Apple Is faulty now.”
“So that’s why Emma Is evil,” said Spike.
“Yes, the Apple,” said Wesley.
“We need to know how to take her down,” said Buffy.
“There’s one way, I don’t know how but, there’s something out there, that’s a weakness,” said Conner.
“What?” asked Faith.
“I don’t know what it is,” said Conner, “But Angelus has it.”
“DING, DING, IS THIS WHERE I COME FOR HELP?!” yelled Angelus standing at the Lobby entrance next to Emma, “Son,” said Angelus addressing Conner as soon as he saw him.
“What now?” said Buffy looking at Angelus.
Emma was quickly on the bar. Wesley and Willow stepped away from the bar.
“She’s too strong,” said Faith backing away.
“Thank you,” smiled Emma.
“I want you to make them feel bad,” said Angelus.
“Ooh, I think I could do that,” smiled Emma.
“What’s the point?” asked Spike.
“I’m not aloud in the little gang of Angelus’s unless I meet the part. So I guess I’ll have to tell you all the truth,” she stated.
“And you’re going to hurt our feelings?” asked Dawn.
Emma smiled wider, and In a hyper voice said, “Who has emotional baggage?” Emma looked around the room. She stopped smiling, “Who should I hurt. I’ve picked up a lot of lives by touching people haven’t I?”
They were all quiet, waiting for something to happen, Emma moved her neck looking at the crowd, “I could tell you all your failure, but of course that would just make you a little angry, what I want, but It’s terribly cliché.”
“This isn’t going to end,” said Spike.
“You better watch who you threat daddy or I’ll make your soul kick in,” she smiled, “Don’t think that I can’t do it, I can make you all feel like you’ve got fake souls. Reliving every single evil thing you’ve ever done. From maybe some theft, petty to death,” she looked at Dawn, “Right Dawn. I know you have it on your mind.”
“Like I’d be bothered by you, I’m not afraid,” said Dawn, “I was sad that’s why I stole, but I stopped.”
“Sad, when I’m sad, I hurt people, and myself, you just steal,” the calmness of her voice made the words work, “Petty theft, whining, over your mother, your sisters death. Why did you let them take an autopsy on your own mother. Cut the body up, have you ever seen an autopsy, first they cut open the chest. It’s kind of degrading. Cut it open below the ribs, pick their breast up and put them over their head, then brake apart their chest cavity.”
“You’ve never seen an autopsy,” sneered Dawn, “You don’t know what they do.”
“It is degrading,” smiled Emma, “You ever seen one done on a live person, I have, they start breathing funny too. Crying!”
“You can’t do anything to us, we won’t let you hurt us,” said Buffy, “You try but it wont work.”
“I can hurt you lot. A person can be killed easily. You could hang them upside down and drain their blood out all over. Biting into a victims throat is like heaven. Do you like that mommy, killing, I mean you’re a killer, everyone of you have probably killed something. Like I killed Red’s girlfriend. That was so fun, now she’s a weak link,” smiled Emma, she jumped off the bar and went towards Willow, “OH THE SCREAMING, Kennedy screamed, screamed and screamed, she was weak. I remember grabbing her by the throat and the thing that killed her was when I pulled her veins out through her neck, she was in so much pain, blood loss was no matter that killed her. She was so afraid, I know it hurts you so, I can smell your fear,” Willow was looking straight and strong, though tears went down her face.
“More come on,” said Angelus, “I know you can do better than that.”
“Do you like visitors Wesley?” asked Emma.
“What?” he questioned.
“Visitors,” sighed Emma, she saw Dawn back up to grab a trank gun off the bar and Emma waved her hand and gun stung her hands when she grabbed it, “Like Fred, coming in and laying out on the bed waiting for you to part her.”
“Ooh, I’m starting to like this,” said Angelus.
“Emma, stop,” said Spike, “I don’t know what wrong with you.”
“Something has woken up inside of me,” said Emma.
“Really?” asked Wesley, “Come on, you can’t torture us with what you say.”
“Smells like I can,” sneered Emma.
“But we could just do the same,” said Wesley, “Come on, you really like all this killing? I’m not stupid, I was the first to find out what you were supposed to be, a hurt child. When you were younger, 12 maybe. Left in a room full of slayers, had to watch them live, bodily functions, death.”
“4 weeks, so,” said Emma.
“They hated you,” said Wesley, “Not only that, but some where even cannibalistic, weren’t they. You’d see the worst torture each other. Peel there skin from a dead body just so they could survive. What hell do you tell us?” questioned Wesley, “Really?”
“That doesn’t affect me,” said Emma.
“But it does Emma, what Reese did,” said Wesley, “Bothers you to the core.”
“So,” sneered Emma, “No wonder you couldn’t’ save Fred, you weren’t able to think, watching me too much-”
“Make Conner sad,” demanded Angelus.
“Okay,” still kept her voice, she was looking at Conner, she opened her eyes widely like she was trying to say to him something else, “Do you like being trick, thrown around, because every single time someone screws you in.”
“Why are you doing this?” asked Conner.
“Because it’s fun, evil is everything, what keeps a person jumping,” she looked a little nervous in her eyes, she seemed a little stiffened. Only Conner could see her expression. Her eyes flashed.
Spike went against the wall behind him, “Bloody Hell.”
“Little Faith can’t do anything right, bad girl,” sneered Emma waving her hand and Faith dropped to the ground In a rage of memories.
Conner heard Emma’s voice in his head, “I’m sorry, act scared.”
Emma went towards Conner looking him in the eyes deeply. Conner just stared back. Then Emma waved her hand and Buffy went down on the ground. Dawn went to her side. Conner started to shake. Pretend.
He started faking a seizure. Emma looked to Angelus, she made the smile go back upon her face, “Is that enough or do I need to do a little more?”
“That’s good,” Conner had stopped shaking in a seizure, he looked at them scared,
“Let’s go no more for them, we want to still leave them guessing.”
“Okay,” she smiled walking through the crowd towards the door.
Emma and Angelus walked out of the Hyperion. Everyone went back to normal. One helping the other. Conner knew that he was the only one that didn’t get the real thing.

Conner went to his room. Went in and closed the door. He locked it, “I smelled fear. Something is wrong.”
There was some flashing behind him, then he turned. Emma flashed into the scene, she teleported in there holding her head. She slammed her head up against the wall. She seemed hurt, she went down the wall quickly.
“What’s going on?” questioned Conner. Emma groaned and grabbed her head. She stood up. She looked at him. “What are you doing?” he asked, aggressive.
“I’m so sorry, I’m so, so, sorry,” she said.
“You smell of fear,” said Conner.
“Because I’m not evil,” she blinked rapidly, “Angelus came to me, he wanted me to help him and now I’m trying to trick them.”
“I don’t think I could trust that,” said Conner.
“God Conner I’m not evil. You know that, I’m trying to save, people,” said Emma.
“By killing them,” he questioned.
“I’m not evil,” she said the lamp behind her blowing up with her anger.
“Why did you kill them, I wonder, I want to know If I can trust you,” stated Conner.
“All those people, they woke up in they’ll wake up in theirs on there beds by morning,” sighed Emma.
“I don’t still believe you, what if you’re trying to trick me?” asked Conner.
“She is Conner,” said Cordelia, “Why would she say anything to you about before, hurt them?”
Emma walked up to him and put his hand on her heart, “You know if I’m evil.”
They looked at each other. Conner kissed her. He held her. The mirror broke. Conner pulled away, “Your powers.”
“They hurt sometimes, but I’ll be okay,” said Emma, “Whatever’s going on.”
Conner just looked at her. Conner stroked her hair, “Do you hate me?”
“No, why do you think I kept you safe, or, I don’t know what I’m doing,” she sighed, “Everything is kind of confusing. I do know one thing,” she said, her hands where no longer at her head, “The Harvester is going to do something, I don’t know what he’s going to do. Something bad.”
“Where?” asked Conner looking at her in a deep way.
“A Hot spot, something do with the hell mouth,” said Emma.
Conner looked at her, “You’re really not evil.”
She still held his hand on her heart, “You know, when I say it, you can tell whether I’m lying or not.”
“Yes,” he said filling her heart beat in her chest, he liked the sound of her voice, he liked her smell. He remembered the feel of her skin, liked that too. Conner ran his hand down her side and pulled her towards him softly kissing her the same time.
Emma rested her head on his shoulder. He put his arms on her back and held her for a moment. She looked up at him and leaned in to kiss him.
Conner stopped her, he stroked her hair looking at her big blue eyes, still inhuman, he didn’t mind them, “I think I love you.”
Emma didn’t answer, “I’ve never been told that,” sighed Emma.
Conner brought her to him and held onto her. He put Emma’s head above his chest. She could hear his heart beat right there, felt it. Conner kissed her head.

Day; Emma walked into the Shrine. She wore black boots, a pair of blue jeans with holes in the knees and a black tank top shirt. The Harvester saw her quickly, looked over at her with Angelus.
“Where have you been?” asked The Harvester.
“Got something to eat,” said Emma, “Nice young man, 6’ft, black hair, green eyes.” [Not really.]
“Today is the day we carry out that spell,” said Angelus.
“Hell mouth thingy?” asked Emma.
“Yes,” said The Harvester, “At the bottom, right next to place.
“And I’m going to help?” asked Emma.
“I just wish I could have been more evil, digging up a dead body of a person and showing it to there loved one, I’ve lost satisfaction,” said Angelus.
“Don’t worry my scum, friend,” said The Harvester, “We’ll return and you’ll have all the time in the world.”
“So how do we get there, you know, my large old, wrinkly friend, well you’re not wrinkly, but, how do we there if the place is you know in the day.”
“I didn’t exactly say that,” said The Harvester
“Somewhere different,” said Emma.
“Yes, follow me,” said The Harvester, The Harvester waved his hand.
Emma closed her eyes. She opened them to the White room. Supervamps littered the place. Not the whole place but. Spike, Faith, Buffy, and Wesley were there as well, along with Conner.
“Hi,” said Emma.
“What are they doing here?” questioned The Harvester, “What’s going on.”
Angelus grabbed Emma’s arm, “One more test. Kill them.”
“I don’t think so,” she replied punching him in the face.
The Harvester wanted what he wanted, he started chanting. Everyone took up their guards. The vamps came at them and the fight began.
The vamps came in a roaring fashion towards them. First Spike used his sword and sliced ones head off. Buffy went to kill one of the many and it caught the axe she went to hit him with and he swung it back at her, she ducked and kicked him across the head.
Faith got punched by one then she kneed it and punched it in the face swiftly. Conner took two. He jumped up and kicked them in the head killing them then threw one into the white. He the twirled around and punched another that flipped him.
Emma punched The Harvester. The Harvester kept up the chanting. The Harvester was thrown across the room. Not going into that white.
Angelus was fiddling with something in his coat. Emma then jumped up and pounced on two vamps dusting them then flipped and dusted another. Then she twirled up and kicked two of them in a twirling motion destroying them. Emma stopped throwing one into the white. She grabbed her head with pain.
“And lets take the blood of the child and see that it is pure and all!!” roared The Harvester.
“Can you shut up!?” demanded Angelus.
Angelus walked over to Emma. She punched another vamp and grabbed her ears and went down on her knees. Emma started sparking. Two vampires came to her and they burst into flames within a foot of her.
Wind started to blow through the room. The room shook and it wasn’t the spell. The air waved. Angelus walked over to Emma. She screamed, not loudly in pain though. Conner threw a vamp past Angelus.
Spike kicked one vamp in the face then took the sword to it’s head. Buffy jumped up and kicked one across the face flipping backwards landing on her feet and spinning around quickly punching one across the face.
Emma bent over in pain, she put her hands on the ground. Angelus then shot her with the thing he was fiddling with. It was a dart, he didn’t want to get too close just incase. Emma took in a loud breath.
Conner punched another vamp dusting it. Spike killed another with his sword. The Harvester still chanting the floor swirling around threw Faith to the ground blood flew from her mouth.
Angelus grabbed Emma. Emma’s eyes started to shift from yellow to normal, back and forth, back and forth. Never changing back to that electric blue.
“Help,” gasped Emma, the power was sinking out of her, she felt like she couldn’t breath, too weak.
“Emma,” said Spike, he had a bloody nose and his lip was busted.
A vamp grabbed him.
“The spell is complete,” smiled The Harvester.
The air started to blow rapidly as the floor shifted like the wind. The wind stabled and the floor waved towards where The Harvester stood. He had backed away from it. Conner was grabbed by a couple of vamps, he was held back when a third one grabbed him. The group was taken hostage. Emma punched Angelus off of her. Then The Harvester came to her, she stood up weakly and punched him in the face but it just bloodied her hand up. The Harvester grabbed her.
“CONNER!” she tried to struggle away, “HELP!!”
“EMMA!!!!” yelled Conner trying to throw the many super vamps off. He tried to reach for her.
The place faded to white meaning they were being shoved out.
