Moira watched as Angel swung a broad sword. “This will do,” he said. With a bow to her and a nod to Doyle he entered the lists on the opposite side of Asher. “Ready to die, traitor?” Asher grinned, “You first,” he said as he lunged at Angel, swinging his sword wide. Angel blocked the blow and kicked Asher in the stomach. The fight went on like this for sometime, it actually seemed as if Asher was going to win for a while till Angel pulled a trick with his sword that would catch even the best swordsman of guard and disarmed him. Kicking out his knees, Angel slit Asher’s throat in one smooth movement as Asher dropped to the ground. As he hit the ground Angel lifted his sword to his lips touching the blood there and then turned and saluted Moira with the bloody sword. “Your honour is avenged, my queen.”
Moira smiled, “And now it is time for you and Doyle to return to your world. Follow me.” She and Legolas led them away from the crowd and into a room deep in the center of the castle. “This is where Anduril, the sword of Isildur was originally forged. And where after it was broken was reforged as Narsil, my sword, my father’s sword. The magicks that were used to create it still exists in the very air of this room. Here the veil between worlds is the thinnest. Here we can create a portal to send you home.”
“But before we do I have something to give you.” She placed a necklace around each of their necks that was identical to the Evenstar she wore around hers save Angel’s had a blood red stone in center and Doyle’s had an emerald green one. “If you ever need my help or the help of my people rub the stone and I’ll know.”
“Thanks,” said Angel. “Yeah thanks,” replied Doyle.
She hugged them both. “I’ll miss you.” “So will we,” replied Angel. As she released them Doyle bent over double in pain, Angle caught him before he hit the ground. “What did you see?” asked Legolas as he came out of the vision. Doyle took a deep breath, “I don’t know what they were. They looked like Orcs but like Elves too. They were attacking us here, now.” Legolas looked at Moira, “Ura-khai.” “Hurry let’s open the portal,” she said. As the portal opened she said to Angel and Doyle, “Go through, hurry!”
“But the Ura-khai…”
“Go! We’ll handle it!”
Angel and Doyle dove through the portal and landed on the couch in the office. As the portal sealed Doyle stated, “I hope they’re alright.”
Meanwhile in Middle-Earth, Moira and Legolas prepared for battle.
