"Faithless"
Chapter Two - The Chosen Life

It’s been a bit now. I’m used to this whole slayer business, it’s very weird to say the least, but fun anyway. I’m sleeping, sort of. That’s what one would suspect. I’m resting my eyes to be more accurate. I hear a man scream aloud then a woman. I knew the scream of the girl. I realize who’s it is and rush down to the fight outside of my apartment. I had moved out, my mom had driven me to the brink of suicide. A lot has happened in this short while. Another being I dropped out of high school. It was driving me insane, so now I just work as the slayer, my watcher pays for everything as long as I kill at least 10 vamps a week.
When I get to the commotion I see it. A large brooding vampire with only 3 fingers per hand, cloven guy. Looked savage and when he saw me his eyes just freaked me right out. I stare in horror as he lets off a bite from her neck, my watchers neck.
She managed to get away as I run at the big daddy vampire and punch at him. He blocks it as well as ever other punch or kick I aim his way. He’s too strong for me. He finally attacks me and punches me into a wall. I cringe and watch as he grabs my watch again. She screams in horror. I scream out her name but it’s useless I can’t get up, I’m paralyzed with fear. I watch as the big vampire grabs her by the neck and beats on her. She cries my name and he obviously takes note of it, he knows me, knows that I’m the slayer.
"Slayer…" Are the words that come from the vampires mouth as he cracks my watchers neck. He bites into it and sucks her dry and throws her to the ground mangled. I stare down at the body with tears running down my face terrified and crying. "Faith…"
He comes towards me, finally I snap out of it and run off leaving everything behind.

I get to a pay phone and slip in some of the money I had left over from what my watcher gave me. I call the watchers council about my predicament and all they manage to say is, "There is another slayer, Buffy Summers, she lives in Sunnydale California maybe she can help you." I hear them hang up on me and I think, Sunnydale here I come.

A few days pass as I hitch hike as far as, well I’m not sure I think the last sign I saw had "You are now leaving Texas" written on it. It’s late and I had nothing better to do so I get off at this one town. I went to a night club and had some fun. I was making out and screwing my brains out just outside the club when I heard a noise. Naked none the less, I see a vampire killing a mass amount of what might have been nuns or catholic girls or something but I put a stop to it. This preacher type guy come up to me and just hugs to bits, even though I’m naked. I think he rather enjoyed himself since he hugged me for a long time. His only words were, "Thank you, thank you. You saved us from that wretched hell-beast. Was it a vampire?"
I look at the guy and just nod, I look at him with a slight smirk, "So where are you guys headed in that bus?"
"Los Angeles" The man looks, "Why do you ask?"
I think for a moment, LA, ‘Sunnydale shouldn’t be too far from there’, "Let me grab my clothing, I’m hitching a ride there." I run back to the guy and see he’s gone. I grab my clothing and jet back to the bus. I hop on and get dressed on the bus, I was going to California. ‘Sunnydale here I come’.
