Andrew and Giles are blown out of the airlock of the Vogon ship. They begin to drifted through space.
XANDER'S VOICE OVER-
"Space is big. Really big. You won't believe how unbelievable big it is. It's so big, that...well you get the idea. If you are thrown out of an airlock, you have about thirty seconds to live. The odds that you would rescued in that time is....well....a lot of numbers to one against."
Suddenly, a ship appears in the same location as Andrew and Giles. On the bridge of the ship, Buffy is looking at a computer scene.
BUFFY-
"Well, so much for the Laws of Physics." She turns in her chair to watch a TV Broadcast.
COMMENATOR-
"Hello, this is Beer Good for Intergalatic News. Today, the brand new ship, the starship HEART OF GOLD was stolen by the newly elected President of Galaxy Spike."
SPIKE (ON TV)-
"Alright, in the name of freedom...uh...puppies, and stuff. I'm kidnapping myself and I'm taken the ship with me." Spike runs into HEART OF GOLD.
Spike, watching himself on the bridge, jumps up and yells.
SPIKE-
"That's right, prats. Take that."
BUFFY-
"Look, Spike, can we put our ego aside for moment."
SPIKE-
"Look, love...if anything is more important than my ego, I want it caught and shot right now."
BUFFY-
"We picked up some hitchhikers."
SPIKE-
"What? Buff, why did you do that?"
BUFFY-
"I didn't do it. The ship did."
SPIKE-
"Where are they?"
BUFFY-
"I'm ask the ship. WIllow?!"
WILLOW's VOICE OVER-
"Hey, guys. I'm Willow, your on board computer. I'm just pleased as punch to report that the hitchhikers are in cargo bay 1."
SPIKE-
"Send the sodding robot."
BUFFY-
"Jonathon...Jonathon, please escort the intruders to the bridge."
JONATHON THE ROBOT-
"That's it....that's all. I'm so depressed."
BUFFY-
"That's life."
JONATHON THE ROBOT-
"Life, don't talk to me about life."
