Rupert Giles is lying on his back looking at the clear Southern England sky. His day started out pretty good. A small breifing from the Slayers that were stationed around the world, and a very nice breakfast. His day came crashing down around him, when he looked out of his window and saw a bulldozer driving towards his house. He ran out and tried to agrue with the foreman, who was trying to tear down his house to make way for a new bypass. Finally, he laid down in front of the bulldozer.
GILES-
"I am not moving."
FOREMAN-
"Mr. Giles, this plans have been on notice for three months now."
GILES-
"On notice! I had to go into a cellar!"
Just then Andrew comes running up.
ANDREW-
"Giles! Giles! C'mon we have to go."
GILES-
"I can't you prat, they want to bulldoze my house."
ANDREW-
"Don't worry about your house, Giles. Listen I need to talk with down at the pub. C'mon."
Andrew helps Giles up and they walk off to the pub. After entered the pub, Andrew immediantly orders six pints.
ANDREW-
"C'mon, Giles, drink up."
GILES-
"Six pints at lunchtime?"
ANDREW-
"Time is an illusion, lunch time doubley so. Giles, what you say if I told you that I'm not really from Sunnydale. I'm actually from a small planet in the vicinty of Beetleguese."
GILES-
"Actually, that would explain a lot about you."
Suddenly, the ground begins to shake, and Andrew leads Giles outside. Overhead is a huge spaceship.
ANDREW-
"Giles! Grab this!" Andrew puts on a small ring around his thumb and aims it at the spacecraft. Suddenly, a voice is heard all over the world.
ALIEN-
"People of the Earth. We have work orders for the destruction of your planet to make way for a hyperspace bypss."
Screans of terror are heard all over the world.
ALIEN-
"No use getting upset now. This plans that been on notice at Alpha Centuri for the pass three months. If you can't bother with local affairs then..."
A view of the Earth from far away in outer space. Suddenly, the Earth explodes.
