After retrieving my Master's lightsaber from the hotel, I followed Buffy to meet her friends. I was introduced to Giles, Willow, Xander, Faith, and Kennedy. She told me that her sister, Dawn, and her....housemaide....Andrew would be coming home soon. After drinking something called tea, which I liked, we sat down and it was question and answer time.
BUFFY-
"So, you're a Jedi? Like 'Star Wars'."
SERRA-
"Almost...I am still a Padawan. And as far as this 'Star Wars' thing, I have no idea what that is."
XANDER-
"How old are you? And how long have you been training?"
SERRA-
"I'm 19 and I have been living in the Jedi Temple since I was five."
WILLOW-
"Wow...fourteen years. Bet you don't date much."
SERRA-
"What is this word 'date'. It is some sort of test?"
BUFFY-
"Well...you can say that. It means...uh....Giles?"
GILES-
"Courting."
SERRA-
"Oh, no. Intimate relationships are forbidden."
KENNEDY-
"That sucks."
SERRA-
"Well, the order believes that a Jedi must devote themselves solely to the study of the Force."
GILES-
"That's not unheard of. Certain religious orders in Asia believe in the same."
The front door opens and Andrew and Dawn come in. Buffy begins the introductions.
BUFFY-
"Andrew, this is Serra...a Jedi Knight. Serra, this is Andrew....well....he's Andrew."
ANDREW-
"Wow, I real Jedi Knight. it is an honor to meet you, young Jedi. You are strong with the Force."
SERRA-
"That's strange. I barely sense the Force in you. How do you know how strong I am."
BUFFY-
"I'll explain it to him later. Meanwhile, this is my sister, Dawn."
Andrew was very weak with the Force, but Dawn....the sametime I felt the Force this strong was from Master Yoda or Master Skywalker. I look into her eyes, and I could tell she was feeling the same from me.
DAWN-
"That's weird...I knew you were a Jedi before Buffy said it."
SERRA-
"It's not as strange as you think. I'll talk to you about it later, but for now....I think I'll retire."
ANDREW-
"Wait! Take these."
Andrew hands me six disks, each one with the word 'Star Wars' on it. I thank everyone and Buffy escorts me to my room.
BUFFY-
"Serra, whatever you have to say to Dawn...I want you to tell me first."
SERRA-
"As you wish, Buffy."
After Buffy leaves, I go to sleep....remembering to watch the 'movies' that Andrew gave me.
