Willow and Buffy stood outside the school entrance, waiting for Buffy's mom to arrive and take
her daughter home.
"Are you sure you don't wanna ride, Will?" Buffy asked, smiling behind her sunglasses.
"My walk home is the only time I can daydream about Xander," Willow replied with a bright
grin. "I wouldn't wanna waste it."
"You've got it bad, girl."
"No!" Willow protested, before her face broke into a cute little smile. "I've got it good! I get to
be with Xander all the time! Kinda like we're an item!"
"But without the smoochies, right?"
"Right!"
Buffy and Willow continued chatting happily, unaware of the two men that were watching them
from across the street in their parked car. One man held a pair of binoculars, which were trained
upon Buffy.
"It's her, alright," he murmured, placing his binoculars into the other man's lap. He picked them
up, and pointed the lenses at Buffy.
"Yeah," he grunted, swinging the view from the binoculars round, so that they were now fixed on
Willow. "Who's the other one?"
"Dunno. Our girl must've made a friend." The two men chuckled excitedly. "Could be quite an
asset, don't ya think?" The other man nodded in agreement as he shoved a piece of gum into his
mouth and began to grind it between his teeth. Flicking the binoculars up to his grinning face, he
peered through them once more. His smile dropped.
"Goddammit," he hissed under his breath.
"What? What is it?" The binoculars changed hands again, and the man wearing them froze. Buffy
was gone. Only Willow remained, smiling to herself as she walked along the street.
"The little bitch," the man muttered, chucking the binoculars onto the back seat.
"I think we should go with Plan B," the other said with an evil grin, as he watched Willow cross
the road. "Plan B."
