Author's Note: Some Warnings and Other Stuff
Hello, world. My name is Slayerfest. I like to write Buffy the Vampire Slayer fanfiction. I also think that Nintendo 64 is probably the best gaming console there is. I get yelled at a lot because of that opinion. ("N64 is good." "NO IT'S NOT! SHUT THE FUCK UP!")
Ahem, yes. Well, anyway, I was sitting there watching the Simpsons earlier (It was the episode where Bart's in love with Jessica Lovejoy and she turns him more bad than he wanted to be. 1994 or something. Not bad. Kinda dumb), and I thought, "Hey. Neat idea for a crossover: Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets The Legend of Zelda-Ocarina of Time." (Don't ask about the connection between the Simpsons and either Buffy or OoT.)
And so I hurtled downstairs and restarted a file on my game and went through and hastily copied down the introduction as quickly as it passed. There will, of course, be a hefty amount of plagiarism, since none of the characters or the concepts will be mine. Totally copied, just applied in totally different ways. It will be very funny (...I hope) and it'll play on both the game and the show.
There will be much swearing. I love to swear, and I haven't sworn enough in my past fics. That's probably the only reason it's rated so high. If you're okay with swearing, then you'll be okay with the rest of it. I mean, the obligatory fight scenes and what have you will be there, but I won't make them extra-specially gorey or anything, mostly because I'm barely capable of making it as such.
Final warning: It's stupid as hell, and I love it. It's going to be freaking long, too; I'll try to make the chapters tolerable but I see now that the original goal of one temple per chapter is probably out of the question since the world will die of boredom before I get to Zelda's castle.
If you have not played the game, you may not get it. I understand. Most of my fictions are probably more for my amusement than that of anyone else (DON'T YOU TAKE THAT AS AN EXCUSE NOT TO REVIEW, SCOUNDREL) and I don't expect a whole lot of feedback on this one. I'm only starting to write it now, and it'll probably take me a very, very long time to finish it, but I'm hoping the first chapter will be posted before the end of this weekend.
