The story of Dawn Lehane.
Dear Diary...
My name is Dawn Lehane, and I am the sister of Faith Lehane.
Yes, you heard it! I'm Faith's sister!
I don't live with my parents or my sister, I couldn't possibly be living with Faith, cause, you see, she's in jail.
She's been convicted of the crime of murder, several murders actually.
Which is really so not cool!
Yeah, so this is the so real good part of my life ; I live with Buffy Summers. Vampire slayer extraordinary.
She is way cooler than Faith, FIRST of all, she doesn't go of wacking (killing) people, and SECOND of all, Buffy is the complete opposed of Faith, she is nice, she has lots of friends and she teaches me some of her slayer ass kicking moves!
And THIRD, she gave me this amazing diary.
Now, don't get me wrong, I love Faith, she's my big sis. But she hurt so many people, and if it weren't for Angel, she'd still be hurting people.
Not to mention how she hurt Buffy all those times and tried to kill her, I'm suprised Buffy even lets me stay with her, it must be so hard to see me every day and see Faith inside me.
It frightens me that I have Faith's blood in me, that I could be able to kill people, it's terrifying.

"Dawn, dinner's ready!" Buffy calls out from the bottom of the stairs.
....Oh, my sister's calling. That would be Buffy, I call her my sister, cause she's been taking care of me for two years now, and she feels like my big sis. So, I call her that too. She doesn't mind. Anyway, food calls! Talk to ya later!
Dawn closes her diary, puts her little lock on it and puts it away in a little wooden box and she puts a lock on that too. Then she puts the box in her closet, she closes the closet, also with a lock, puts the key in her trousers pocket and then goes downstairs.
"So, what ' ya been doing up there." Buffy asks and she looks above her, meaning Dawn's room.
"Oh, nothing, just hanging around, watching some TV, playing games on the Internet." Dawn lies, she want her writing in her diary to be kept secret for only her to know.
"So, been writing in your diary hu ?" Buffy says while putting the spaghetti sauce that Joyce, Buffy's mom, cooked on the table.
"How 'd you know that ?" Dawn asks suprised and a little mad because she thinks that Buffy has been spying on her or something.
"Dawn, I used to be 14 once too you know, before I had the whole slayer gig, I know what it's like." Buffy smiles and she sits down next to her mom and Dawn and she begins to eat.
While Dawn is eating, she suddenly begins to ask something, but then says 'Never Mind'. Then she does it again, she begins to ask something, but then says to forget it. It goes on like that for a few minutes till Buffy has had enough of it and asks her what's going on.
"Are we going to L.A. this weekend ?" Dawn asks, briefly looks up and then almost rubs her nose in her spaghetti while looking down.
"What for ?" Buffy asks a little unknowingly or unwillingly to know.
"Buffy." Joyce says. "I think you know." Joyce nods at her.
"So are we ?" Dawn asks again.
"What ?" Buffy asks slightly confused.
"Going to L.A. ?..." Dawn asks, looking Buffy straight in the eye this time.
Buffy puts her fork down and sighs.
"If it will do you good to see her, fine by me. But it's not because it's her birthday this weekend she'll want to see you this time. I don't see what different about the other times we went and she didn't want to see us, even on her birthday last year she didn't want to see you. I can't imagine what could have changed." Buffy says, hurting Dawn's feeling.
Dawn looks the other way, she has a tear in her eye, Joyce looks mad at Buffy.
"Look, Dawnie. Being in prison must be hard on everyone. It makes you feel different, act different..." Before she can continue, Buffy interrupts.
"It makes you not kill people ?!" Buffy says with an attitude and Joyce looks even madder at her, so she keeps quit from now. But when it comes to Faith, Buffy is always harsh. She never forgot what she did to her.
Joyce turns back to Dawn.
"As I was saying, (she gives a glimps of a mad Joyce face to Buffy and then turns back to Dawn.) prison makes you feel things that can be bad, good. It can also make you feel ashamed of what you've done. And I guess that's the deal with Faith, I think she's just to ashamed of herself to face you."
"But she let Angel visit her, why not me ?" Dawn asks with a low sad tone.
"She let Angel visit her because he knows what she's going through, Angel was a murdered once and he also reformed back to good. They feel the same way, and she doesn't have to feel ashamed when she's around him, neither does he when he's around her. That's why it's easier for her to see him then to see you. They're kinda the same." she finishes.
"You think ?" Dawn asks sweet and Joyce answers with a nod that means yes.
Buffy stands up, brings her board to the kitchen and returns.
"Faith and Angel aren't the same, you can't compare them with each other. Angel didn't have a soul when he did all those awful things, Faith did." Buffy says and she walks to the door and opens it.
"Buffy!" Dawn yells and Buffy turns around.
"You can go." she says. "But I'm not coming with." Buffy ads and she walks out of the house, mad.
Dawn looks at Joyce and cries.
"She hates me. Doesn't she ? Every time I mention Faith, she hates me."
Joyce holds Dawn's hand.
"No, she doesn't. She loves you, we both do, you know that. She just has to loose some of her anger towards Faith, and that wont be easy."

Buffy is at the church yard working of some of her anger.
She's fighting against to vampires.
Kicking them in to the ground, up in the air, against a tomb stone.
"Now this is what I call fun..." Buffy says while fighting and then continues.
