Once they were all on the train everyone found a compartment to sit in. Connor, Dawn, Hermione, Ron, and Harry all sat together with Ron’s little sister Ginny. Angel, Cordy, Buffy, Gunn, and Spike decided to sit together to the dismay of both Angel and Spike, who wanted to be far away from each other as possible. Giles went to go find another teacher and perhaps find out if they knew anything about the mysterious mark and then he headed over the Prefect’s compartment; Dumbledore had put Giles in charge of overseeing them. Fred, Anya, Wesley, Xander, Willow, and Tara all sat together in the last empty compartment.
“You know this is kinda of all exciting,” Dawn said.
“Yeah, I know what you mean. Hogwarts has got to be way better than my school back in L.A.” Connor said.
“It’s okay, just watch out for Snape,” Ron said.
“Who?”
“Potions teacher,” Harry said.
“It doesn’t really matter though I suppose,” Hermione stated, “I mean most of the teachers left right? That’s why you guys are here.”
“Where’d they all go?” Connor asked.
Harry just shrugged.
“Who knows? They could be anywhere,” Hermione said.

McGonagall, Snape, Hagrid, and Trelawney walked carefully through the forests of Albania. Hagrid’s dog Fang led the group in their search for Lord Voldemort.
“This tree looks very familiar,” Trelawney said, examining it closer with her coke bottle glasses.
“Maybe that’s because we’ve passed it 17 times already! That stupid mutt is leading us around in circles!” Snape yelled.
“Hey, wait just a minute now,” Hagrid said, “Fang’s a good dog. The best there is. If he can’t sniff he who must not be named out no one can.”
McGonagall just shook her head, “Oh dear. I’m sorry Hagrid but maybe it would be for the best if we devised an alternate search plan.”
Hagrid sighed.

“Okay, it says here you are going to die very soon,” Cordy said as she tried to read Spike’s tarot cards.
“Pet, I’m already dead.”
Angel laughed.
“Oh, whatever. Lucky you. So who wants me to tell their fortune next,” Cordy said, no one answered her, “Buffy?”
“No thanks Cordy, so far you’ve predicted that everyone will die in the near future. I’ve already died twice, I like the surprise.”

“Hey!” Connor yelled at his CD player which had stopped working.
“We must be close,” Hermione said, “Electronic devices don’t work inside or near the school.”
“Oh, man,” Connor said.
“Forget it why don’t we play a game?” Dawn suggested.
“Like what?” Ron asked.
“Oh, I know how about Truth or Dare,” Dawn said.
“No way,” Connor stated.
“Come on it’ll be fun,” Ginny coaxed.
“Fine.”
“Okay, I’ll go first,” Dawn said, “Ron, truth or dare.”
“Umm....dare.”
“Hmmm,” Dawn said, trying to think of something creative. Ginny whispered something in her ear, “That’s good. Okay, I dare you to eat a vomit flavored Bertie Bott’s Every Flavored Bean.”
“Eww,” Hermione said.
“I would but you don’t have one,” Ron scoffed in triumph.
“I do,” Ginny said, pulling it out of her pocket and rubbing some of the lint off, “Fred and George gave it to me.”
Harry laughed as Ron picked up the bean and ate it, gagging at the taste.
“Alright, my turn,” he said, “Ginny, truth or dare?”
“Truth.”
“Do you still like Harry?”
“No, of course not,” Ginny said. She was lying but her brother accepted her answer without question, “Okay, Connor; truth or dare?”
“Truth.”
“Okay, if you had to kiss anyone here who would you pick?”
“I don’t want to answer that.”
“You have too.”
“It’s the rules,” Dawn said.
“Dawn,” Connor said under his breath.
“Pardon,” Hermione said.
“Yeah, can you speak up?” Ron smirked.
“Dawn,” Connor said, blushing slightly, “Hermione, truth or dare?”
“Truth.”
“Do you like Ron?”
“No,” Hermione said. Ron’s face fell a little; she noticed and smiled at him indicating it might not be true, “Harry, truth or dare.”
“Dare.”
“I dare you to…….hit Mafloy with something while we’re at the great feast,” Hermione said with a laugh. When she had first met Ron and Harry she had very much been someone who followed the rules all the time. But she soon learned that sometimes rules had to be broken and other times it was just fun. She thought about the time she punched Mafloy and smiled.
“Are you crazy?”
“No, are you chicken?”
“Fine, I’ll do it.”
“Harry, are you sure that’s such a good idea. You’ll get house points deducted,” Ginny ventured but she was ignored.
“Dawn, truth or dare?” Harry asked.
“Dare.”
“I dare you to kiss Connor.”
“What?” Dawn asked in disbelief.
“You heard me.”
Dawn looked at Connor and he just shrugged. This is not how I imagined our first kiss Dawn thought as she leaned in closer to him. They were mere inches apart and just about to kiss when the whistle blew that it was time to get off the train. Saved by the bell Dawn sighed in relief. She wanted to kiss Connor but not like this not now.
