Buffy looks on as Dawn is flirting with Mal. She doesn't like: she knows he isn't Kaleb, but the looks are too similar for her taste.
BUFFY-
"Joss, wo else is coming to your 'Real World' party?"
JOSS-
"Well, Nick, David, Emma, and James still hasn't shown."
BUFFY-
"Okay, 'Shakespeare', who is 'Nick, David, Emma, and James?'"
JOSS-
"Nick played Xander, David played Angel, Emma played Anya, and James played Spike."
BUFFY-
"Spike? Angel?" Buffy's heart was beginning to race. Oh boy, if they both showed up at the sametime it could be chaos...or some sort of oil in evolved. Buffy's heart began to pound for a far different reason.
On the couch, Dawn was tring to make conversation with Mal.
DAWN-
"So, you're the captain of your our spaceship...what kind of spaceship?"
MAL-
"Serenity is a Firefly Class cargo ship. My crew and I fly and try to find work."
DAWN-
"What kind of work?"
MAL-
"Any kind of work."
Meanwhile, Alyson, Willow, Tara and Kennedy are looking down into the basement. They are trying to figure out what is going on.
ALYSON-
"So...you're the witch. Go down there and do your 'Hocus Pocus'."
WILLOW-
"Is more complicated than that, Aly. "
ALYSON-
"What the hell? Just read the script....where in the fuck is Alexis?"
KENNEDY-
"Alexis and Wesley are passed out on the couch."
TARA-
"W..Well they did have a lot to drink."
ALYSON-
"Can't blame them. Man, I'm so glad Joss didn't write 'American Pie'."
KENNEDY-
"Why the hell not? The part of Michelle was one of Resse Witherspoon's funniest roles."
ALYSON-
"WITHERSPOON! She never tried auditioning for 'American Pie'. I played the role of Michelle."
KENNEDY-
"No way! Willow would never say the word 'Pus..."
She is interrupted by the doorbell. The entire group tenses. Kali tiptoes to the door, and she looks through the peep hole. She turns around, and breathes a sigh of relief.
KALI-
"Okay...don't worry it's just Danny Strong, Tom Lenk, and Adam Busch."
JOSS-
"That's cool...wait a minute..with Adam's here, then?"
SARAH-
"Then Warren's here."
