I agree for the most part with axel. I never loved or hated Riley. I even kind of liked him. I mean he was a really good guy that just got delt a shitty hand. First he thinks hes part of something that helping people and realizes that the Initiative is really just trying to make a demon army. Then he falls in love with a girl that doesn't love him back. And for the record I don't think that Riley really cheated on Buffy. He had those vamps sucking his blood he wasn't doing anything sexual with them. He just had a very weird adiction to the pain. I can't say I really liked Riley with Buffy because I'm always and forever a B/A shipper but I can't say I hated the guy. I thought he was a good character and I think all the Riley bashing (such as dedicating a whole fic to bashing him) is def a little extream and a lot of energy dedicated to a character that everyone supposedly hates. Sorry if I offended anyone but thats just how I feel.
