Willow is sitting in Giles's library looking at the laptop's screen. She wasn't actually doing work, she was daydreaming. She couldn't shake this feeling. It was almost like the feeling she got when The First started to put it's plan into practica a few years ago. She looks up at Dawn, who in turn is staring at her. The younger woman takes off her reading glasses.
"Will, is something wrong?" the most junior Watcher asks.
"It's...just....I can't fight this feeling, Dawnie. I know something is wrong. I talked to Giles about it, and he said while he was in London he would look into it. But...."
"You need answers now. What about talking to the Coven at Devon. I think that Miss Harkness could help you."
"I don't know, they have already helped me so much."
"Go, and see. We know they will help you, with you asked."
The next day, Willow steps into the chambers of the Coven of Devon. She felt safe here, that feeling of doom and dread is finally gone. Amelia Harkness, the leader of the coven sits with the small group of Wiccans. They are in mediation, but Ameila's eyes open as soon as Willow steps into the room.
"Blessed Be, Little Willow," Ameila greets her.
"Blessed Be, Miss Harkness. I'm sorry to interrupt, but..."
"We know why you are here. Something tragic was been happening to the world. Someone is trying to destroy the Wiccans."
"Someone..."
"All we know is that this enemy is not a demon, but humans. You must find out who they are and stop them."
"Me?"
"Little Willow, we are teachers and guides. Few of us have fought the forces of evil. But you have been fighting beside the Slayer for years. If we are to survive, we will need a champion, and that champion must be you."
Willow left the Coven to mediate, and she needed to think about what to do next. Giles was in London, Buffy and Kennedy were on a mission in Moscow, and Xander and Faith were in Cairo. That left just one person.
When she got back to Westbury, we told Dawn to email Riley and Sam and to buy them two tickets to Washington, DC.
