Here is what I think.
David has been quoted (in many interviews) that he would do a big budget movie, or direct to DVD movies if the "bar were set high enough". Sarah Michelle has said she would consider going back (again if the "Bar were high enough). Nicholas Brendan said he would do a movie, as have Eliza Dusku and James Marsters, though James did say it would have to be within the next three to five years. Anthony Stewart Head, though he is very busy with comedy in the UK, was quoted somewhere as saying that he would give it a try, and Amber Benson (who is currently busy with making her own movies and novels) would try it. Alyson Hannigan was quoted as saying she would like to, but that they would have to look at new story lines. Michelle Tractenburg (in a recent edition of BtVS or AtS magazine, I don't remember which) said she might go back if new stories were explored and if it would really challenge her.
With all of that finally said, I think a big budget movie, or multiple straight to DVD movies would be great. I don't agree with those who say a movie this long after the end of the show would be a failure, look at Serenity. I personally loved the movie as well as the show. I must (unwillingly) agree that if they do not make it quick that some of the actors will be too old to believably reprise their roles.
I'm very tired so I'm done with my opinion, there might be more later. Let's all just hope that there will be a movie or straight to dvd movies. And even if there is not we still have fan fiction! -Marissa
