Willow bolted up out of her sleep, waking up Kennedy. She look out of their bedroom window across the calm, peaceful fields of Westbury, England. Willow reached over and put her rob on as she got on of bed. She still felt shy when she felt danger nearby. Even though it was just her and Kennedy in the room, she didn't want to be naked. Something was wrong and she could feel it. She felt this feeling before, twice. During Buffy's resurrection spell and her small period of homicidal lunacy after Tara's murder.
The next morning, she looked tired and Kennedy could tell. It's been two years after The Final Battle of Sunnydale, and since then Kennedy could tell her moods. The slayer walked behind her girlfriend/Watcher and kissed her neck.
"You feeling okay, baby?" Kennedy asked.
"Nothing...I hope. Let's just say I felt a distrubance in the Force last night."
Kennedy raised her eyebrows, "Okay, sweetie, you have been talking ro Andrew WAY to much."
Willow tried to laugh, but she couldn't . Something was out there, something that what to kill her and hurt the people she loved. She felt, she knew it.
After breakfast, she walked into Giles office. Since becoming Head of the Watcher's Council, the old demon hunter and Slayer Watcher could make the headquarters wherever he wanted. He had long decided that being based in London was a too temper of a target for demons and even governments to attack. Nobody would expect such an important organiztion to be based in Westbury.
"Giles, can we talk?"
"Of course, Willow...is something wrong?" After almost ten years of fighting the forces of evil together, Giles could read her like a book.
"I felt something last night. It woke me up straight from my sleep. I haven't had this feeling in a while."
"What did it feel like?"
"Death," Willow looked into her friends eyes as a tear ran down her cheek.
