Mikkel was now covered in the glow emanating from Willow. The glow filled the room, making it pulse with energy.
“What do I do now, master?” Mikkel asked, eyes pitch black.
A deep voice seemed to come out of the sky. “Invoke me, like I taught you.”
“Yes master,” Mikkel said. He pulled the stone out of his pocket. He chanted. Pulling out a dagger, he sliced the palm of his hand. “Oh, great one. Leader of the realm of the old mystics, Great Linotheus, I invoke thee.” He placed the stone in his bloody palm. It began to radiate a piercing blue light. “Use me as your vessel.” He swallowed the stone. The light filled him, radiating from his skin, his eyes a piercing ice blue.
“I command you,” Mikkel said, although the voice was no longer his. He put his hand on Willow’s forehead; her body lurched. “Kill them! Kill the friends of the witch!”

Giles made his way into the living room. “Alright everybody. We have to work fast. If this is effecting all Slayers, well, you can only imagine the imminent tragedy,” he said, looking around the room.
To the shock of Frederick, who had Susie’s head on his lap, Susie stood up.
“Susie,” Frederick said happily, standing to come to her side. “You’re awake. We were so…” He was cut off by a hand around his throat, lifting him up into the air. Susie had turned on him with cold, ice blue eyes.
“Oh my god! Susie, what are you doing?” Dawn said, running to Frederick, grabbing her arm and trying to get her to release Frederick’s neck. “Giles, guys, a little help,” she said frantically.
Seeing the scene, Giles looked at Ilya and Xander. “Alright, here’s the plan,” he began. “When I say go, we tackle her!”
“Wow, Giles. That’s the plan? That sounds like something I would suggest,” Xander said with a small laugh.
“Yes, well, we are in somewhat of a bind,” Giles answered.
“I’m just saying,” Xander said, putting his hands up defensively.
The three men looked at each other. “Go!” Giles said. They took off, running straight for the tiny slayer.
“Dawn, out of the way,” Xander said. Dawn dove for cover as the three of them barreled into Susie. She released Frederick, the four of them falling into a giant heap on the ground.
“We’ve got her!” Giles said triumphantly.
“Dawn, rope, something, anything, we have to tie her up!” Xander said, struggling.
Susie struggled, but the three men kept their hold on her.
“I can’t find anything!” Dawn said, turning and walking into Kennedy, who had just entered the apartment. “Kennedy,” she began, “I’m so glad you’re here. I think Susie is evil and we need some thing to tie her up.” She looked at Kennedy, who smiled back at her with ice blue eyes. Dawn screamed as she dogged out of the way of Kennedy’s fists.
Dawn ran back to where Giles, Ilya, and Xander still lay on the struggling Susie. “Uh, Guys,” she said. “I think we have a problem,” She said, dodging out of the way of Kennedy.
Looking up, Xander noticed Charlotte coming up on them with an ax. “Okay, I think we need to move.”
“But if we—” Giles began.
“Now, Giles!” Xander said. “AX!”
“Oh, dear,” Giles said. He and Ilya got up quickly, releasing one very angry Susie.
“Weapons,” Dawn called from across the room where she had located a small weapons chest. Everyone grabbed what they could from the small chest and prepared to face off with the three slayers.
“Don’t hurt them too badly,” Giles said. “They’re still the people we know. Just stun them, knock them out, somehow.”
“And how are we supposed to do that?” Dawn asked.
“Hit them with something heavy?” Xander quipped.
“I know that, you ninny,” she began, but didn’t have time to finish. It was time to fight. Dawn dodged another hit from Kennedy and tried to hit her with a lamp from the table. She was unsuccessful and the lamp flew across the room, hitting Xander in the back.
“Okay Dawn, I meant hit the evil slayers!” he said, taking a swing at Charlotte with a baseball bat he had found in the weapons chest.
“Oh, sorry!” she said quickly, running behind the couch to escape Kennedy. In the process, she tripped over Faith who was slowly regaining consciousness. Noticing Faith stirring, Dawn grabbed the lamp from the other table and hit her over the head with it.
“Ouch, geez! Dawn, what was that for? I know you don’t like me that much, but that doesn’t mean you have to hit me!” Faith said, rubbing her head.
“Faith! I’m so sorry. I thought you were evil. You’re not evil?” Dawn said, looking curiously at Faith.
“How many times do I have to say that I have changed before you people believe me? I am reformed!” Faith said, frustrated. Standing she was quickly tackled by Kennedy.
“I know that, Faith. I mean EVIL!” Dawn said, pointing at Kennedy.
Faith looked up into Kennedy’s cold blue eyes. “Oh,” she said plainly, struggling to push Kennedy off her. Faith rolled, slamming Kennedy’s head into the ground and stunning her long enough to get up. She stood, taking in the scene around her. Frederick was desperately trying to keep away from Charlotte, who was after him swinging her ax. Ilya was hurtling small energy bursts at her, but they seemed to have a minimal effect. Susie had managed to grab hold of Xander and flung him against a nearby wall. She was coming in for the kill when Giles came up behind her and jumped on her back.
“What is going on here!?” she asked Dawn.
“I don’t know. They woke up like this. Also, hello, no time to explain!” Dawn said, gesturing around her.
******************
Buffy woke up. She was sitting propped up against the bed in a toga Dawn had rigged for her out of a sheet. She looked down at herself. “What is going on?” she said out loud. That’s when she heard Dawn’s scream from the other room. Getting up, she ran out into the living room, coming into the same scene Faith had just been watching.
“Dawn!” Buffy called. “What is going on?”
“Buffy!” Dawn called back. “Are you evil!?”
“Listen, I know we haven’t been getting along lately, but I think calling me evil is a little harsh,” Buffy said, putting her hands on her hips.
“I think she’s okay,” Dawn said. “No, Buffy. Not you, THEM!” she said, pointing around.
“Right, evil Slayers, got it,” Buffy said, then someone burst the door down. “You have got to be kidding me!” Buffy said, exasperated as about fifteen Touruk Demons filled the room.
“Okay everybody, Faith and I will take the demons. Everyone else try and keep the Slayers at bay,” Buffy said.
“Thanks, Buff,” Xander said. “We’re right on that.” He took a hit in the stomach.
“Buffy,” Dawn called. “You kill them by getting to the heart, in the stomach.” She threw Buffy an ax.
“Thanks, Dawn,” Buffy said, smiling.
Kennedy grabbed Dawn from behind. “Dawn!” Buffy called, running to help her sister. Feeling Kennedy’s arms around her, Dawn bent forward using her hips and Kennedy’s own momentum to flip her over her head and onto her back on the floor.
Buffy looked on shocked. “Well I guess you don’t need me.”
“I think I’m good,” Dawn said smiling. “But that doesn’t mean I don’t need you,” she said again, picking up a broken table leg and hitting Kennedy hard in the head with it. Kennedy slumped to the ground, Dawn had knocked her out cold.
“Dawn, I..” Buffy began.
“Buffy, there’s not time now,” Dawn said. “You have some serious demon butt to kick.”
Buffy gave a short nod, giving Dawn a small smile she left to join the fight Faith was very quickly loosing. They were greatly outnumbered. Between the Slayers and the Touruk Demons, it looked like they were doomed. Ilya shot out a bolt of fire at a nearby demon. Hitting him, he burst into flame. “Watch where you throw that!” Faith said over her shoulder. “The whole place could go up.”
“Dawn,” Giles called. “Go check on Willow. Make sure no one has gotten in!”
Dawn nodded and hurried off. She ran up to the closed door of Willow’s bedroom, noticing the giant glow emanating from the room. She tried to open the door, but couldn’t push it past the energy. Dawn shook the door. “Willow!” she called. “Willow!”
Running back to the battle in the living room, she called to Giles, who was flying through the air, having been thrown by Charlotte. Seeing Giles was not in a position at the moment to help her, she called to Ilya.
“Ilya, I need your help,” she said. “I can’t get into Willow’s room. Something’s blocking me. I think it’s magick.”
Ilya ran after Dawn, away from the fight. Coming up to the door, he put his hand on it.
“There is much black magick coming from the room,” he said, worried. “I am not sure I can break through.”
“You have to try!” Dawn pleaded.
Ilya closed his eyes. He began to chant, white light emanating from his hands. Sweat began to trickle down his face and his muscles were clenching. He continued to push the white light onto the door. “Let us in!” he yelled, and the door burst into pieces. Ilya collapsed, exhausted.
“That was cool,” Dawn said. “Are you alright?”
“I’m fine, just drained. Go” he said, and Dawn cautiously entered the room.
