The next day I didn't go to mom's house. I told the sisters I was, but I went to an address I found on the Internet that might be connected to Joyce, or Dawn.
I knocked on the door and waited for like 10 minutes for someone to open.
Then, finally, the door opened. There was no one at the door, so I stepped inside and into the living room. There was a woman, with black hair, sitting in a chair.
She turned around with the chair.
"What 'd you want ?" she asked with a strong tone.
"I... eum... I read on the Internet that a woman named Buffy Anne Summers used to live here.
"Yeah, so, what's it to you ?" the impolite woman asked.
"She was my aunt." I said and the eyes of the woman widened, she stood up and came closer.
"Holy shit! So, wait, you're Sandy ?" she asked a little friendlier.
"Yes, I am, but, I'm sorry, but who are you ?" I asked confused, I had no idea who she was.
"I'm faith, the former vampire slayer."
My mouth fell wide open, it couldn't be that she was still alive, could it ?
"But, that can't be, or I wouldn't be a slayer. Unless you are dead."
"Bingo." Faith said and she sat back down.
"OMG! The blinds. Joyce, you, I was so wrong, Joyce isn't the vampire, you are!n And you made Joyce crazy, didn't you ?!" I was totally freaked out by this, could there be a change in the universe that I was right. Was the great vampire slayer Faith now a vampire herself, did she make Joyce crazy ? Oh, no, it were to many questions for my head at that time, I just got my stake out of my jacket and backed away from her.
"First of all." Faith began. "Yes, I am a vampire, but I have a soul." like Angel ? I thought. "And second, no, I didn't make Joyce crazy. Your sweet mummy did, she trapped me, let Dru kill me and gave me a soul. She hated me so much, and she hated Joyce too, that's why she made her crazy." I couldn't believe what I was hearing, was this true ? Was she lying ? "Oh, and about a month ago, your niece flipped, got her sense of real back, or at least, that's what Dawn make her think, and she killed your aunt, her mom, hit her in the head with an ax. Now Dawnie wants to make you her new lapdog. Make you kill for her when she wants, cause that's what she did with Buffy, how she controlled her, how she controls her niece. Nice, hu ?" she said to me.
I didn't believe it, I didn't want to believe it.. How could she say all these things about my mom. I didn't believe a word of it, and I told her that exactly.
"I don't believe you! You're a vampire ! You're a liar! And I hate you!" I yelled and I stormed out of that house.
When I got back at the orphanage I went straight to bed, I couldn't eat a thing.
"Are you okay ?" sister Nadia asked when she saw me crying in my room.
"Get out!" I yelled. "Just leave me alone!" I was so mean to her.
All she said was. "Okay, I understand." and she left.
It surprised me she was so nice to me, but I didn't care about anything at the time, I just wanted to die, I wanted to die if it was really true, if my mother really was such a horrible person. If everything I read about her and Buffy was only a lie. How could she do that to me ???
