"Dawn? Dawn? Dawn, what have I done?" Connor sobbed shaking her. Spike rushed
in after hearing him shout.
"Connor wha-" Spike stopped dead after seeing her unconscious, naked.
"Connor, get some clothes on her. I'm gonna get her to hospital. Call Buffy
tell her that i said she has to pick you up and go to the Emergency room"
Spike picked up Dawn and ran out of the crypt.

Spike ran along with the doctor towards a ward. Good job it was after sunset.
"I don't know what happened. I just got home and her boyfriend was shaking
her"
"And she would be?" the doctor replied. Spike saw from the name tag he was
called Dr Finlow.
"Dawn, Dawn Summers. Her boyfriend will be here soon, with Dawn's sister"
Spike replied laying her down on a bed.
Buffy ran around the Corner, along with Connor.
"Spike you're meant to be dead. Is she alright?" Buffy gasped trying to
breath.
"As you guessed, i'm alive-well sort of, long story. But she's in a coma..."
"And...Spike tell me" Buffy demanded
"They..." Spike gulped "They don't think she will wake up"
Buffy sat down "She has to! She thinks I hate her. I don't hate her.
Spike, i don't think I can live without her. I have been going crazy since I
made her leave-" Buffy passed to draw breath and lay her head on Spike chest
sobbing quietly.
"Buffy, It's alright. Shhh. She's gonna be ok" Spike tried to sooth her.
"Spike, I have to-I have to tell her. She has to know. She should know!"
Buffy gasped.
"Know what?" Spike asked suspiciously
"I found out" Buffy wept into Spike's chest. "Last week. I need to tell..."
Spike gave up with trying to make sense of Buffy and turned to look at Connor.
He was Pacing backwards and forwards along the corridor.
"Connor, she'll be ok" Spike tried to reassure him.
"Right. Ok" He sighed "None of this would of happened if I had stayed with
Angel-"
"Angel who?" Spike asked thinking of his Grand-Sire.
"He's my dad" Connor replied
"Ah. S'not who i am thinking of. I thought it was my Grand-Sire - Er
grand-father friend"
Connor looked up.
Spike quickly tried to cover his tracks "Er, they got on really well. It
ain't him. He was sorta incapable of having kids"
"Wait a minute" Connor put his hand to his head. "Spike? I should of guessed.
You're my err my Dad's grandchild!"
"Er. Do you know what we are? Me and Peaches i mean"
"You mean Angel? Yeah ya vamps. It's cool"
"Do you know who your mother is?"
"Yeah. Darla, Do you know her" Connor asked
"Wait Darla? How? She's dead" Wondered Spike
"Long story. She came back. Angel got her pregnant. She told him. She went
crazy 'cause she had a soul inside her-mine. She started to go into labour.
She loved me so much she killed herself. Angel says it was because when i
was born she would no longer have a soul and then kill me"
"Wow. Some story!" Spike laughed. He had wondered what had happened with his
family.
"Still more. When i was a few weeks old. Holtz came back. Angelus had killed
his family and he wanted revenge. Holtz kidnapped me and took me to a hell
dimension. I grew up there and Holtz told me Angel was Evil and to kill him.
I came back when i was 16. Attempted to kill him. Went evil. Tried to blow up
a room full of hostages. Angel got Wolfram + hart to take away my memories
and give me a new family. But i met him once and remember everything.
That's the outline of my life so far. By the way, my 16 years in hell was
3 months here"
"Ok. So you have had a pretty dramatic life, huh?" Spike stated. "I
thought we couldn't have kids?"
"No. I'm a prophecy" Connor replied. He looked at the room where they had
taken Dawn. "But then again, he had these two as well" Waving his arm at
the twins.
"The twins? They're Angels?" Spike asked, his mouth dropping and eyes blazing.
Connor looked at Spike "Errr yes?"
Spike shook his head "Take Buffy and the twins to the car. I'm gonna get Dawn"
"Where are we going?"
"To the City of Angel!" Spike smirked.
