Fear
At eight o'clock Buffy goes to the San Francisco local church yard.
It is just past dark, and she sits on a tomb stone and waits for Xander and Giles.
"Hi."
She looks behind her, Xander is standing there with a big smile on his goofy face.
"Hi." she says back and he gives her a hug.
"Where is Giles ?" Buffy asks.
"He has car troubles, he'll be here as soon as possible."
"I hope so, I have to be back at the mansion at twelve o'clock.
"Why ?"
"I've gotta have a talk with Phoebe."
"Ah, the well know girl talk." Xander jokes.
Buffy laughs.
Before Xander can give one of his dumb comments, Giles comes running.
He has a few weapons in his hand, and as he runs, they fall.
He picks them up and runs over to Buffy and Xander.
"Hello, Buffy, Xander." he nods to them.
"So, you've got a whole army there in your hands." Buffy says and she looks at the weapons. "Is the world ending ? Cause, if it is, it'll have to wait till tomorrow, I have someone waiting for me." she says.
Giles looks at her as if she is crazy.
"No, no, no ending of the world. It's just gonna be a busy night, we have five vampires awakening."
"Five ?!" Buffy yells "I'm never gonna leave this grave yard before midnight." she says a little disappointed.
"Not to worry. Xander and I can take one or two vampires on our own, just make sure these ones (he gives her a piece of paper with a few names on it) are dead before you leave."
"Why ?" she asks.
"They took lessons in Karate."
"Oh... Neat!" she says and they wait for the vampires to wake up.

Finally, at 10 o'clock, the first to vampires awake.
The one isn't completely out of his grave yet, and she stakes him.
The other one is standing before Buffy, swearing to kill her and be the best vampire on aerth.
He attacks her -, she ducks and he falls and rolls over the dirt. Xander throws her another stake, cause she has lost hers, she catches it and tries to stake him. He pushes her, and she falls against a tomb stone, breaking it.
Then she's really angry. She gets up, runs to the vampire. Gives him a few punches and a kick in the gut, and stakes him.
"Two down, three to go, or one to go, depends on when they wake up." she says clapping the dust of her hands.
"Yes, yes, you have to be somewhere at twelve o'clock." Giles answers.

Another hour passes by. She has killed one more vamp who also hadn't come out of his grave yet. They are waiting for the last two vampires to arise. Buffy has given it one more half an hour, but then she would call it a night.
Thank God for her, cause this was her 'lucky' night for slaying vampires.
She is on a roll. She feels kinda sad she has to leave and not slay any more vampires, she is really enjoying it tonight.
The last two finally arise too, she has ten minutes left and then she has to leave. She gets a crossbow out of Giles' bag. She shoots one, he gets the arrow before it gets him, this is one of the guys Giles warned her about. One of those Karate guys. The other one was a normal guy, not a Karate specialist. He tries to get her from behind. She knows, of course, she has a stake ready in the sleeve of her sweater and when he tries to attack, she stakes him. He never saw it coming.
Now she is standing face to face to the world champion of Karate.
He tries one of those fancy kicks, she avoids his foot, but still has time enough to grab it too.
She throws him across the cemetery. She does a flick flack and she is now standing over the vampire. She kicks him in the face and then stakes him.
"And that's five for the slayer, zero for the rest." She says and she gives a high five to Xander.
"I'm gone, bye." she says and she gives Giles and Xander a hug.
She was so busy with going to Phoebe that she didn't even notice that Giles hardly said a word.

Piper, Leo and the children have gone to bed. Paige is gone to help in P3. And Cole is sleeping while Phoebe is watching some TV till Buffy gets home.
"Whaaaaaaaa......" There is a scream on the TV.
"Oh, come on..." Phoebe says. "It's so obvious that he's the killer." she says.
"So, you're watching Cherry Falls hu ?" Phoebe looks behind. "I've seen it a couple of thousand times." Buffy says and she sits besides Phoebe.
Phoebe switches the TV of and turns to Buffy.
"So, nice slay night ?" she asks.
"It was great, really..." Phoebe looks at her with a face of unbelief. "I'm serious, it was great, it's just..." "Angel ?" Phoebe ads.
"Yeah. He and I had the worst year ever, but now that's over, and he and I can have sex. We can have sex and he doesn't have to worry about losing his soul. But now he hangs out with Spike all the time and it's like he doesn't want to be with me anymore." Buffy says.
"I know what this is." Phoebe says with a smile. "What's that ?" Buffy asks. "Fear... He's just scared of losing you again, of losing his soul again. Come on, you must have thought about it, the last time you and he had sex, he lost his soul and killed half of San Francisco. It's natural for him to be having second thought about if he should do it or not." Phoebe says.
Buffy stands up and smiles. "Thank you Phoebe, Thanks so much." She gives her a friendly kiss on the cheek and she walks out of the house.
