A.N./Sorry I forgot to mention this, but the whole Parker thing never happened. As far as I"m concerned Joss went through temporary insanity when he wrote that. No offense to him though.
"Angel....you.....here?"
"Yeah I'm here."
'Wh.....why?"
"Can we talk some place? Alone?"
'Okay let's go..."
"I don't think so," Riley stood in between the two who had completely forgotten he was there.
"Buffy, I believe you were just about to tell me that you would love to go out with me," said Riley in a tone that screamed I'm-the-world's-biggest-arrogent-ass-hole.
"No I was about to tell you I would not love to go out with you."
"But I thought..."
"You've been thinking wrong since we met Riley. I'm not interested." without thinking she pushed passed him and kissed Angel.
Angel of course not caring who saw him with his.....well hopefully his girl gladly kissed back.
"What the hell did you do to her you bastard?" Riley screamed.
Buffy and Angel broke the kiss and looked at him like he'd gone bonkers.
"You were supposed to be with me," he kept screaming, "What did he do to you?"
"He just happens to be the love of my life," Buffy told him in a patronizing tone, "he has never done anything to me except love me. You on the other hand have been a pain in the ass since the day I dropped those books on your head. And I'm thinking I should have dropped heavier books."
"Bu..."
"Just shut-up you dumb ass."
"Angel did you just say that?"
"I'm a bit different, that's why I came."
"You don't seem..." Buffy's hand had been on his chest and she suddenly noticed a thump-thump.
"Heart beat?" she whispered.
"Yeah," Angel smiled, "heart beat."
"You gonna stick aroun this time?" she started crying.
"If you'll have me."
"You don't even have to ask."
It was like fairy tale come true. They started kissing again and didn't care who saw them because they were finally together and could live happily ever after.
THE END
Yeah right. Let's not forget Riley was watching.
"Buffy..."
"Listen boy, I've had just about enough of your whining," said Angel reluctently breaking the moment with Buffy, "You stay away from my girl or you'll have me to deal with. Got it?"
"You son of a biDUHHH!"
Angel meant what he said and sacked Riley in the stomache.
"I don't like it when people insault me. Let's go Buffy."
They grabbed Doyle and Willow who had been cheering for Angel and went ot the mansion.
They called the whole Scooby Gang who all got to the mansion as fast as they could.
"So Dead Boy's not so dead anymore."
"How many times do I have to say it? Stop calling me that."
Xander shrugged, but little did anyone know he was trying to figure out why he didn't have that feeling in his gut anymore. The feeling he always used to get when Angel was around. He didn't even mind the guy anymore.
'Just becasuse he's human doesn't mean I like.' he thought.
'Who says it's because he's human?"
'Great googley-moogley Wills! Don't do that!'
'Sorry, but we know I'm right. It's because you're over Buffy. That's good.'
'And the fact that he beat up Riley has nothing to do with it?'
'That may have had some effect on you.'
"So you still have your vampire strength?" asked Giles bringing Willow and Xander out of thier telepathic world.
"Yeah, the Oracles said I was more use to the Powers That Be here. But I knew I couldn't come back as a vampire so they made me human."
"The Oracles?"
"They communicate to champions for the Powers," explained Doyle.
"And you get visions of people in trouble?"
"That's pretty much it."
"Strange, I've heard of it before, but only from half demons. Are you half demon?"
"I happen to be very much human! AAAACHOOOO!" his demon face came out, "On my mother's side." he said shaking it off.
"That was so cool!" squealed Cordy.
"R-really?"
"Are you kidding me? How many guys have two faces? And those spikey things? Are they poison or something?"
"No, but you really didn't mind?"
"Of course I didn't mind! What do you think I'm that shallow?"
Everyone who knew her in high school raised an eyebrow.
"Anymore."
"But I look like some kind of monster."
"Well....if a gang tried to mug you, you could scare them off."
Doyle smiled, "I've never thought of it like that."
"Well start looking for silver linnings buddy because around here it can get pretty bleak. Now ask me out already!"
"Cordelia, will you go out with me?"
"Duh."
"Okay love birds let's get back on track," said Buffy, "Doyle, I'm positive that you'll fit right into our little Scooby Gang and Angel you're all thrilled have you back but we need to set some ground rules."
"Rules?" asked Oz.
"Yes. Number one: No one's aloud to die."
Everyone agreed to that one.
"Number two: No one can go evil, even if the offer sounds good at the time or if there is a break up."
Again they all agreed.
"And number 3: You all have to like Angel. That means we all forget about the whole Angeleus bit we had a couple years ago," this was directed to Giles inperticular, "and under no circumstancs is anyone aloud to call him anything other then 'Angel', " this ofcourse was for Xander, "Are we all clear?"
Giles nodded and Xander said, "Well...ahhh what harm could it do?"
"Good boys. Now shake hands and be nice. Stop looking at me like that I'm serious."
They all shook and not a single one of the Scoobies ever hated each other or went evil or died(well they all eventually died, but not at that moment) ever agin.
THE END
Come on! Did you reall think I was going to end it like that? Riley hasn't even gotten beaten up that badly yet!
