Chosen.
So, that same night I read the book. I read all night.
I had my night light on, if I'd had my bedroom light on, sister Nadia would have known, she knows everything. Another weird thing about her.
But anyway, I read and I read.
I read about the first slayer, and the men who turned her into a slayer, and made her less human. Witch I think is really wrong, they didn't even let her chose.
And I read about this amazing vampire slayer. She lived the longest of all. And it was my aunt. Joyce' mother. Buffy Anne Summers. They called her Buffy, the vampire slayer. And she was a very special slayer, she had a family and friends
Her mother, Joyce was suposed to be this very nice woman, she was kind to everyone. She died of a tumor when mom was 14 or 15 years old. I'm not sure about that.
Buffy's watcher, was Giles Rupert. A watcher is kinda like someone who, well... watches and trains his slayer. He stood by her for many many years. I don't know if he's still alive.
Buffy wasn't the only one chosen, she died once, when she was 16, but her friend Xander brought her back. She drowned, so it wasn't so hard to bring her back. She died for a few seconds. She killed the master, who killed her first, but she was better. But because of that there was another slayer summoned. You see, it doesn't matter how long a slayer is dead, only one second, and the next slayer was called.
That slayer was called Kendra. She didn't live very long, a vampire named Drusilla killed her.
Because of that, there was a next called. She was named Faith, I guess she's dead now too, it didn't say in the book. First she was good and stuff, but then she turned to the dark side. And almost killed Buffy and her lover, Angel. Who was a vampire with a soul, given to him by gypsies. He also turned evil once, after he and Buffy slept together. She killed him, he came back. But that was all before Faith. She eventually turned good again too. She couldn't bare to kill anymore. She was stabbed by Buffy, after eight months she awaked, she tried to kill Buffy again, then went to L.A. to kill Angel, but he turned her back to good. As I said earlier. She went to jail. But escaped when they needed her.
Buffy also had a sister, Dawn, my mother. And this is freaky, my mother used to be a key. Monks created her, to protect her. She was a key that opened a hell dimension, and 'The Beast', or Glory, as she called herself wanted to kill my mother. But Buffy saved her, and gave her life for her.
This is so cool, she was brought back, by her friends Willow, Xander, Anja and Tara.
They did this super duper spell. And voilą, there she was again, alive and well. Then she fell back in old habits. She slept with Spike, who was, just like Angel, a vampire. But he didn't have a soul. No, they used to be enemies. Spike was 'in love' with this Drusilla chick, the crazy vamp. But then she left him, said he became weak, because he couldn't kill Buffy. Eventually he fell in love with her. He also had a chip in his head for a while, but he got rid of that. He also got a soul of his own. And died for Buffy, but yeah, this seamed to happen a lot, he was brought back to. By some guy and this hole thing with a law firm, it's really complicated. I think Spike is still alive, being a vampire and all. And being Joyce' dad, I think he still is alive. Maybe I can meet him someday, or maybe that Angel dude is still alive and I can meet him someday. Yeah, that'd be neat.
Anyway, that girl, Tara, who helped bring Buffy back, she died. She was Willow's lover, but then this stupid guy Warren killed her, and tried to kill Buffy too. Willow saved Buffy, and she killed Warren, she almost destroyed the world. She was so cool. Again, it doesn't say if she's still alive. It does say she had another girlfriend, Kennedy, she's dead. She was a slayer, about the same time Buffy was a slayer. Isn't that weird ? Well, a vampire got to her, she was turned a vampire herself, and Buffy and Willow stopped her.
I don't know anything about this Xander guy, or Anja, she died in the final battle between The First, whatever that was and good. Xander, I don't know what became of him, I'll ask mom, she'll know.
Here's the deal with this The First guy. It was the first evil. It had no form. But it had a lot of power. It tried to wipe out the entire line of slayers. So it send his minions, creepy guys without eyes, after 'the potentials'. That were girls who, if the real slayer ever died, would become the next slayer. But Buffy, Willow and the gang changed that. Willow did a spell with this weapon, forged for slayers only, and she made every girl in the world who might have been a slayer, she made them in to real slayers. She gave them the strength of Buffy and Faith.
So they fought against an army of thousands and thousands of these Uber Vamps. Or something, and they destroyed The First and the Hellmouth they were living on. Good won. And everywhere slayers were awakening. Thanks to Buffy and her friends.
And that's all that the extra pages in the book said. I guess every girl that was made a slayer died. Since I'm the new Chosen One now. It's so sad. To think that hundreds and hundreds of girls are dead by now. It's too creepy.
But tomorow I have to know more, like how Buffy died, and about the rest of the gang, what happened to Willow, Xander, Giles, Spike, Angel. Tomorrow is going to be a very interesting day.
