Buffy walked into the bathroom just after Angel did,"Are you okay?"She asked, causing him to jump. She muffled a giggle and became serious again.
"I'm fine. Did you want something?"He asked, not even seeming to care.
Buffy looked shocked. Here she was, in front of him, pregnant, and he didn't even care. What was wrong with him? "I wanted to talk. You know you stood me up right? Then blew me off, and haven't spoken to me?"
"Stood you up?"
"You were supposed to meet me back in my room. But you never showed up. What happened with Ms. Calander?"
"Nothing. Listen Buffy, I need some time to myself. I know that's gonna be hard to accept and all but...you'll have to."
"What?! Angel! I'm pregnant, with your baby! How can you say you need time to yourself? What about out plans? To move in together, be together, have a family?"Tears welled in Buffy's eyes.
They heard the door open but thought nothing of it. No one came in so they ignored it, but they didn't know that Cordy was listening in the doorway,"I remember our plans, and we're obviously going to have a family but, I can't handle it right now. Give me some time to think about it and everything will be fine. Our baby will be fine."Angel reached out to touch Buffy's stomach but she took a step back.
"Don't you dare put your hands on me. This is not going to be our baby. It will be my baby." Cordelia couldn't take it anymore, she stepped forward into clear view and had a sly smirk on her face.
"Well, well, well, little Virgin Mary isn't a virgin anymore. What great news. But, if you're pregnant, than why haven't you been sent home? Wait, I know! You were going to hide it weren't you?! Buffy, once a good little church girl, now a bad to the bone pregnant teen. This is great!"
"Cordelia, I don't know how much you heard but obviously, a lot. No one can know. Promise you won't tell anyone."Buffy begged, still crying.
"I promise."Cordelia said smiling, with two fingers crossed beind her back.
