Time: Season 7, After Him and Before Conversations With Dead People.

Chapter 1: Defeated
“Where are you goin?” She yelled at me.
“Out!” I yelled back and slammed the door.
“Fine.” I heard her yell.
“I give up.” I thought a few minutes later.
“That is the last time I offer my help. Not that she lets me anyways. I mean I thought that I could help more with the fighting. I fought with her. I took on those creatures that Willow sent to kill us when she was evil and that time that she let me fight with that vampire that she ended up dusting, but that is besides the point." I thought as I walked away from my house.
"Like Spike said to me once, You Summers woman are strong. I go to a school on a Hellmouth. Hell, I’m was a green ball of energy!” I yelled.
“But, no she’s all like: You can’t Dawn. I can’t slay and worry if your hurt or not. Then it went to hell after that.”
“I’m 17 now. Well technically I’m 2, but that again is besides the point.” I thought to myself.
I didn’t know where I was going. I didn’t even notice that I was in an alley until I jumped when a voice came from behind me.
“Well, looky what we found.” the voice said from the other side of the alley.
I turned around fast and asked “Who’s there?” but I already knew that I was in deep trouble.
“Your worst nightmare.” the vampire said and then two more vamps appeared behind him.
“Like I never heard that one before.” I said trying to hide my fear.
“Oh, boys this one has a mouth on her cute little face.” the vampire said with a evil smile.
I moved slowly knowing that if I ran I had little chance of out running them.
“Think! Think Dawn.” I said to myself.
“Can I fight? I have a stake, but I can’t take’em all.” I thought remembering my stake in my pocket.
“I like you, but it is to bad that we just ate. So we are going to have a little fun before we kill you.” the vampire said to her
Now I was terrified for my life.
“I wish Buffy was here.”
End of Chapter 1
