“So you want to be human,” said Doyle.
“Yeah,” said Cole just before he doubled over in pain.
“Dad?” asked Prue kneeling next to him, “What is it? What’s wrong?”
“It’s the Source,” Cole said gritting his teeth, “He’s…he’s trying to…to take hold.”
“Fight him,” said Prue, “You did it once you can do it again.”
Cole relaxed, opening his eyes and breathing hard he said, “It’s alright, I’m back.”
Prue sat back on her heels thinking. “What about the potion mom made the one that stripped your powers when you were Beltazor? Would it work?”
“Not by itself,” said Cole running his fingers through the hair affectionately. “The Source is harder to control than Beltazor ever was.”
Prue stood up and sat down next to him. “What if we added the Source vanquishing potion? Would that work?”
“Maybe,” said Cole, “but it only worked with the vanquishing spell and it’s a Power of Three spell.”
“What does that mean?” asked Angel.
Prue ran her fingers through her hair and fisted it, putting her elbows on her knees. “It means I don’t have enough power on my own. I need the power of the Charmed Ones.” She sat there lost in thought. Bringing her head up as a light bulb went off inside it she said, “The spell combines all the powers of the Warren line, right? What if I write in the powers of the Charmed Ones?”
“It might just work,” said Cole.
Prue stood up. “I’ll get the potions started.”
“And I’ll find that Krevlar demon,” said Angel raising an eyebrow at Doyle.
“I’ll help Prue,” said Doyle shaking his head back at Angel.
