Buffy season 8 episode 3:
Beastie atack
The gang has thought it true, and they no longer want to stay in Santa Clara, the town they
were staying in after Sunnydale was destroyed. Andrew, who had fought besides them in the
big battle, had already left for L.A. Now the others are going to do the same.
They will have a place to stay with Andrew and his father. All though, when they have to chose
between Andrew or a stuid town, they would rather pick a stupid town. But Buffy has desided,
she wants to go to L.A. As sson as Wood is released from the hospital, they will go to L.A.

Wood had to stay in the hospital a few days longer than expected. His wound had an infection,
and after his heart atack, that the doctors still can't explain, they want him to be as carefull as
possible.
Today is the day he can finally leave the hospital, so today is the day that Buffy and the gang
will leave. Even though there are still a few girls in the hospital from the big battle, they are
still going to leave. Kennedy & Caithlinwill stay behind with the girls till they are realeased, and
then they will all follow to L.A.

"Hi." Buffy said after she nocked on Woods door and entered.
"How are you ?"
Wood first puts his jacket on before answering. He stands up, goes to the mirror, looks at himself
in it. And then turns to Buffy.
"I've been worse. I fought Faith was picking me up ?"
Buffy looked down, then she looked back at Wood.
"She's out, patrolling." she said, while she thought what a lame excuse that was.
"Buffy, it's morning."
"Yeah..." Buffy said, knowing that he knew that she wasn't really patrolling.
"Yeah, well, the sun is shining outside, what is she gonna do, slay vampire rabbits." he said a
little sarcastic.
Buffy could tell from the look on his face that he was disappointed that Faith didn't show.
"Where is she buffy ?"
"She's euh...I euh...I don't know."
Wood looked at Buffy, then he looked outside, then he looked back at Buffy.
"Lets go!" was all he said.
They left the room, Wood didn't even look back. He hoped that Faith would pick him up today,
but apparently she didn't care enough.

After Anya died in the big battle, Xander has felt this big void inside him. Like life wasn't worth
living anymore. So he asked Willow for help. Afterall, she is his best friend. And she has lost her
lover too, a year ago.
He was standing outside her room. He didn't know if he wanted to come in, or not.
After several minutes of just standing there. He knocked on her door.
But she didn't open, Kennedy did, Willow was out with Faith, she didn't know where to.
Xander wanted to leave, he said it was nothing important.
"Oh, yeah, it's really nothing important." Kennedy said.
"And that's why you were standing outside the room for like 15 minutes."
Xander had nothing to say, he just wanted to leave Kennedy & Willow's room, and pretend
that he never even went there. But that was to late now.
"C'mon, why don't you want to talk to me ? I promis i'll be nice." she said with a little smile.
Xander entered the room, and they sat down. He started talking about Anya, and she just listened.
He felt ass if there was this big burden lifted of his shoulders, now that he could talk about it
with someone.

An hour later Buffy and Wood came back to the hotel.
When they entered the lobbie, there was this big poster hanging up.
It said : 'Welcome back, Wood!'
And Faith, Willow, Dawn, Giles, Kennedy & Xander were standing under it.
Giles couldn't make it, he's at the hospital, one of the girls died, and he had to fill in the papers.
They didn't want to think of it to much, it's sad, but they knew it could happen.
Wood's face was like a kid who'd seen a chocolate factory, he was glad that they did this for him.
Faith didn't say anything to him the next hour, she was avoiding him.
He could tell. So he decided to play the same game, and he began to avoid her too.

Another hour later Giles came back.
He looked a bit sad that the girl died, but also happy that he was back with his friends, and not
in that dreadfull hospital.
Nobody said a word after that, untill...
"So... who's ready for L.A. ?" Buffy said.
Everone looked at her, and they went to their rooms to get their things, wich was almost nothing,
since everything they had was in Sunnydale, wich is now gone.

They still had the Sunnydale schoolbus to drive to L.A. , so they took it with them, it's big enough
to fit everyone in it, and besides, it was the last thing they had of Sunnydale, and they weren't
ready to lett go of it. At least, Buffy wasn't ready.
Wood was driving, and Faith kept looking at him, and if he would look back, she would turn her
head. It wasn't like Faith to do these kind of things with a guy. Usualy she'd use him, and
forget him, but Wood was different.
Still, everytime Faith looked at Wood, and Wood at Faith, the others could feel some tension
between them.

"Buffy, we're almost there." Dawn said.
Buffy was looking out the window, she looked a bit absent, she turned around when she heard
Dawn saying something.
"Hu ?" Buffy said, she didn't listen to what Dawn was saying.
"I said we're almost there." Dawn said and she sat down beside Buffy.
"Oh, good, that's good. Look, Dawn, I know I haven't been there for you these last coupel of days.
But how are you holding up ?"
Dawn looked around first, then turned back at Buffy.
"All of our memories were in Sunnydale, in our house. Mom died there, (Buffy looked at the floor
for a second.) Tara died there, all of our pictures were in the house, and now, they're all gone, and
the funniest thing is, I don't really care. The memories will stay in our harts, and as for all the
rest, we can buy new things, it was a bit hard at first, knowing that it was all gone, but, the
most important thing is that we're together. You and me. We can make it together, remember."
Dawn looked at Buffy and Buffy at Dawn after she finished her big speech. And everyone in the
bus was talking, and laughing, even Xander, who had just lost Anya, he was happy too. So she
knew Dawn was right, she knew they could make it, ass long ass they are together.

Buffy stood up and went to sit besides Giles, who was sitting alone for the whole ride so far.
"Hi." was all she had to say.
"Hello Buffy, is something wrong ?" he said.
It was not exactly what she wanted to hear from him.
"Nothing, nothing's wrong, jeeez, why does everyone always think that something's wrong when
I want to talk to them. Am I like the bringer of Doom, Beware, or she will bring bad news." She
said a little sarcastic.
Giles and she laughed. They needed it.
"I'm sorry, of cours nothing's wrong, I am just..." he couldn't finish his sentence.
"...An old worried british man." so Buffy finished it for him.
They laughed again. It's been a long time since they were able to do that.

It was after midnight when they arrived in L.A. , Wood was looking for a place to park, when
they suddenly heard something.
"Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!"
They could hear in the distance.
"Stop the bus !" Buffy yelled.
She jumped out of the bus, and ran in the direction of the screams.
When she got to the scene, a girl was lying there, she was ripped in peaces. Blood everywhere, and
behind Buffy, there was a monster... A...
"Werewolf!!!!!!!!!!!" Dawn yelled.
Buffy turned around, and there was a werelof standing in front of her, she looked at the sky, and
she noticed something, there wasn't a full moon.
But the beast looked like a werewolf, it's hair was black, as black as can be, his teath were so big,
and she remembered what Oz looked like, and he looked a bit like that, only, Oz wasn't so big.

Not knowing for sure it it was a werewolf or not, she atacked it.
They struggled for a while, then Willow conjured a nife in to Buffy's hand, and Buffy stabbed it
a few times.
She really wanted it dead.
The rest of the gang and slayers approached Buffy. But before they could look at the animal, or
whatever it was, they were surrounded. More and more of those beasts came out of nowhere, they
at least were with more than 30, even with all the slayers, Buffy didn't want to atack.
She looked at the beast she killed, and it was human, it was a human being, so it must have been
werewolfs or something. Buffy didn't want to kill anymore of their kind untill she knew what they
were.
She looked at the human, and then at the beasts, they didnt want to atack, they wanted the body.
Buffy could tell, so she told the others to back away from the body.
And, what she thinks is the leader, came and grabbed the body, and the girl that monster killed.
Buffy didn't expect that, nobody did. The body of that killed girl was their best chance they had
of finding out what those monsters were.

They were stil standing there long after the beasts were gone, they were all considering what to do
while Willow and Buffy tried to find any leads.
"Buffy, this isn't working, we shouldn't have lett them take the bodies. They were our only lead."
Willow said while she was doing a little spell to find anything.
Buffy stopt and looked at Willow.
"What was I suposed to do, lett the girls fight, they would have died." Buffy said.
"They're not girls anymore, they're slayers, and they got alive out of Sunnydale, they're
survivers. You can't keep holding them back from all of the danger."
"Will. I'm not, I'm really not, but I faught one of those things, and it took me a while to defeat it,
and that was after you gave me the nife, those createres were to strong, and they were with to
many. Besided, they're human, They could be innocent."
Buffy argued.
"Or they could be cold blooded killers, we don't know."
Buffy looked around, and she saw a sign that had Wolfram & Hart on it. She knew what to do.

After getting back on the bus, Buffy told Wood where to drive, no one else knew where they were
going.
When they got there, it was already light outside. They were parked in front of a building, a
building that's called Wolfram and Hart. The source of all evil.
Buffy got out, and looked around, Dawn joined her.
"So, this is where he wworks now hu ?" Dawn said.
Buffy looked at her, she never told her that Angel was working here now.
"I'm not an idiot, whenever you're in L.A., you come to visit Angel."
"This is not a social visit, we need his help, that's the only reason I'm here."
Buffy walked closer to the building, leaving Dawn by the bus.
"Uhu, social visit it is." Dawn said to herself.

They went inside, Giles didn't agree with coming here, but he had no choice, so he kept his
mouth shut.
Everyone was amazed by the size of he building, and how the people that worked there looked
so normal... well, most of them at least.
Buffy walked to the reception.
"Can I help you ?" the woman at the desk asked.
"Yes, I'm euh, I'm looking for Angel." Buffy said.
"Mr. Angel ? (she smiled) He's on the top floor. It's easy to fing him, just go to the nicest looking
office."
"Okay, thanks." Buffy said and she went upstairs, the rest followed.

On the way upstairs they came across an old friend, well, more like old hostage.
"Oh great! (Buffy didn't want to see him right now.) Andrew." Buffy said.
Andrew still looked the same as they last saw him, wich was only a week ago, they were
a bit uprised to see him here.
"Hello my fellow friends, welcome at the home of evil, or ass we like to call it now, The Home of
the New Good." Andrew said.
"Well, nice to see you have changed." Giles said and he cleaned his glaces.
"We need to find Angel." Buffy said.
"Oh, Angel isn't here." he answered.
"What do you mean, where is he ?" Buffy asked.
"Beats me, i'd go ask Wesley." Andrew said.
"Before I go do that, I have one quistion for you, what the hell are you doing in W&H ?" Buffy
asked.
"Angel saved me from those monsters and he's letting me stay here while he goes after them."
Andrew said while evryone was thinking the same, did he mean those werewolfie monsters ?
