Chapter 3
Los Angeles
Night
Angel finally got all of his stuff packed and out of his old hotel building. As he was going to walk out of the hotel for the very last time he looked at the place and he remembered some of the things that had happened here.
"I hope I did the right thing," he said to himself as he walked out never to come back.
He taped a sign on the door and than he started to head to Wolfram and Hart.
As he walked to Wolfram and Hart he tried to remember all of the good reasons about working with his mortal enemy and forget about the bad ones.
He thought to himself, "Connor is happy now, because of Wolfram and Hart. Cordelia can get better treatment, so she could get out of her coma. Those are good enough reasons for me."
Angel walked into Wolfram and Hart. The law firm's staff are rushing here and there. He had only been working here for almost 2 days now. They told him that he should only be working on small cases until he got use to the whole running a evil law firm thing.
"Angel. Hey man. What's up?" Gunn asked as he walked out of the elevator.
"Nothing, I think I might be lost. This place is so big." Angel replied.
"Yea, What are you trying to find? Your office?" Gunn asked.
"You know where it's at?"
"How am I suppose to know. I can't even find mine."
There was a moment of silence as Angel looked around.
"There it is." Angel said as he pointed to an office.
"I'm happy you found yours." Gunn said as he walked away.
Angel went into his office. As he got there he saw a good looking woman waiting for him.
"Can I help you with something?" Angel asked the strange woman.
"No, I got everything under control, but I couldn't say the same thing for you." she replied.
"What is that suppose to mean? Who are you?" he said not liking this woman already.
"The name is Eve, I'm your liason to the Senior Partners." she replied.
"Great. Just great. Does that mean I will be seeing you everyday?" Angel asked her as he started to walk to his desk.
"You will see me when the Senior Partners want you to. Let's get down to busniess shall we. The Senior Partners sent me over here to say welcome to Wolfram and Hart and for me to make sure that you know all of the rules." Eve said to Angel as he sat down.
"Such as...?" Angel asked.

They arrived at one of Los Angeles hospital's parking lots in less than an hour. Buffy was still talking to herself, but now she was whispering loud enough for Dawn to hear her.
"Buffy. What? I can't hear you." Dawn said.
Dawn was getting worried that the reason Buffy is acting this way has nothing to do with her injury that is already healing itself perfectly. Giles found a parking spot near the emergency room door.
"What's wrong Dawn?" Giles asked as he turned off the bus and went back to check up on his Slayer.
"She's trying to say something, but I can't hear her." she replied.
Giles leaned down so he could hear her. Buffy said something and Giles got back up.
"Oh." was all he could say.
"What? What did she say? Dawn demanded.
Giles turned around towards Faith.
"Faith get Robin to the emergency room." he said as he ignored Dawn.
Giles didn't want to tell Dawn what she had said. He turned toward Xander.
"Xander, you and all of the conscious Slayers carry the ones that are not able to walk to the emergency room." he said.
"I will take Buffy," he said to himself as he bent down to pick her up.
"I got Willow." Kennedy said.
"I'm fine. Honey." Willow said.
"You should still get checked out. That took a lot of power and strength." Kennedy worried.
Willow's legs buckled. She almost fell to the floor, but Kennedy was there in a flash and she caught her.
"You know what I think your right, but I might just need to sleep." Willow said.
"What about me?' Andrew asked.
Giles turns to Andrew.
"Your not hurt and I don't think that you can carry anyone, so just stay with the bus and watch our weapons. Oh and here is 30 dollars go to the store and buy enough food for everyone." Giles told him.
"Can you drive a bus?" Giles asked unsure now.
"Of course I can. It's a lot like my old van." Andrew said sure of himself.
"Wait here for a little while and you can take Vi and some of the others with you."
"You still alive Vi?" Giles yelled.
"Yea." Vi answered plainly.
"Help us out than come back and make sure that Andrew does what is is suppose to." Giles told her.
She nodded.
"Oh...What do we tell them what happened if they ask." Xander asked Giles who had Buffy in his arms.
"The truth. Tell them that we survived the earthquake that swallowed Sunnydale." Giles said as he went to the front of the bus.
"Yea, the truth. Why didn't I think of that?" Xander said to himself.
Everybody got off the bus and headed to the emergency room. Slayers carrying Slayers, Faith carrying a weak principal, Xander carrying a Slayer, Kennedy helping Willow, Dawn helping a limping Slayer, and Giles carrying a very weird Buffy.
When they got inside of the hospital. People where running here and there. One of the nurses saw them and came rushing over.
"What happened?" the nurse demanded.
"We are the survivors of the earthquake in Sunnydale." Giles told her.
"Really?! Ok? At least we got some that can walk. Hold on." she said as she walked toward a doctor.
The doctor looked over at the gang and nodded. He walked over to them and the nurse went back to work.
"Sorry, but we can only take the ones that are the worse. We are very busy and we don't have enough beds." the doctor said as he looked at Giles.
"How many can you take. We have at least 4 woman that are unconscious. One man with a stab wound. And this one which I think needs the most help." Giles said to the doctor.
"What's wrong with her?" he asked.
"She's been stabbed, but that is healing good. The real problem is that she is not responding. Like she isn't there." Giles said as he kept his voice very low so the rest of the gang won't hear him.
"Does she have any mental illnesses or any history?" he asked as he lead everybody to a big room.
"No, but she has been talking to herself." Giles said.
"Ok, What's her name?" the doctor asked.
"Buffy." Giles replied.
They walked into a large room with like 10 beds. 5 on each side.
"Alright, you can place her on this bed. The man with the stab wound will go next to her. The ones that are unconscious will go across from them."
Giles put his Slayer down on the bed in front of him. Faith put Robin in the bed next to Buffy. Xander placed a Slayer in the bed across from Buffy. Kennedy helped Willow in the bed across from Robin. Dawn helped the limping Slayer up on her bed. Then the rest of the Slayers that was carrying someone placed them down on a bed. Vi and 3 other Slayers went out and back to the bus so they could go with Andrew. The doctors made everyone that was not that hurt wait in the lobby room.
"Giles tell me now. What did Buffy say?" Dawn said as he still ignored her.
"We need to know who is dead. Who out of the potential are alive?" Giles asked.
"We still have me, Vi, Rona, who is in bad shape, Shannon made it, and about 5 other new Slayers that I have no idea what their names are, because they came to Sunnydale a few days before the fight with the first. That's all I think." Kennedy said to Giles.
"That means we lost Chao-ahn, Amanda, and about 4 to 6 other potentials in the Hellmouth." Giles said out loud to himself.
"We have Willow, Buffy, Rona, Shannon and the 5 unknown Slayers in there. Four of them are unconscious." Kennedy said.
"That's right." Giles said.
"...And don't forget that we have Vi and 3 other Slayers with Andrew." Xander just remembered. "They just helped us carry the injured ones and they went back to the bus to go with Andrew."
"Giles!." Dawn was getting very angry now.
Just than Willow walked out of the emergency room.
"Willow." Kennedy said as she rushed to her side.
"I'm fine. They just said that I might need some sleep. Told you." Willow laughed.
"Great. I was worried." she said.
They hugged. Then Willow turned to Giles.
"We need help. We don't have a lot of money and we can't take money out of the bank right now, because we are going to use that money for the medical bills." Willow stated the obvious.
"Oh, no. I hope your not thinking what I think your thinking." Xander said very seriously.
Before anyone could say anything farther they were interrupted by the doctor from before.
"I need you to sign these." he said and handed Giles a lot of papers and a pen.
"Ok." was all he could say. "Do you know anything, yet." Giles asked.
For the first time Faith spoke up.
"How is he? The man with the stab wound." Faith asked the doctor.
The doctor smiled as he said, "He is going to be just fine."
Faith relaxed and said, "Thanks."
"Doctor, How is Buffy?" Giles asked afraid of the answer.
The smile disappeared.
"Can we speak alone?" the doctor asked.
"What's wrong?!" Dawn asked.
"Of course." Giles said not wanting to upset Dawn any more.
Giles walked off with the doctor and the doctor told him what was wrong with Buffy.
While Giles was talking with the doctor the gang was getting very worried for Buffy even Faith was too.
"What do you think is wrong with Buffy?" Dawn asked anyone wanting an answer right now.
"I don't know. Dawnie. But whatever it is I'm sure everything will be just fine." Willow said as she tried to make her feel better.
"Yes Dawn everything will be ok." Xander said trying to help to.
"We need help Xander. We need a place to stay. We need money." Willow told Xander.
"Andrew is taking care of it." Xander said as Willow laughed.
"Andrew? Even if he does take care of it. How long is that going to last." Willow said.
"No. No way. We are not going to do that. We don't need to do that." Xander said very seriously.
"We need him, Xander." Willow said, "We need Angel's help."
Off in the distance the doctor is still talking to Giles.
The doctor says, "I'm sorry. We will do everything in our power to help her."
End of Chapter 3
This is my first Fic. so I don't know if I explained this right or not. Review please. I need to know if you like it or not it will help me write the next Chapter.
