woke up in a cage. I wasn't expecting to wake up at all, so that was a start. I decided to play it dumb, actin' like I was still unconcious. I heard voices and the got the most familiar smell yet.

"Minor set back.", Sabretooth said. Sabretooth and I go way back. Before I got my andimantinum skeleton ripped out o' me. Before I even got it put in if half my dreams are true. Sabretooth stands about high as you can tell, has a healing factor just as good as mine, strength up the yin yang, and ugly as you can be. I'm a lot shorter...a lot shorter, got my retractable claws, and another edge-I'm the best there is at what I do.

"Minor set back?", somebody said in an English accent. Smelled blonde though, wearing leather, and sitting in a wheel chair. "I could see if Angelus here described the Slayer as blonde with big breasts and you brought back Pamela Anderson." "Spike...", some female whined. I heard him accept her arms around him. "But he isn't exactly blonde and I don't think that's a breast mate.", Spike continued.

Sabretooth snarled. "You know, you vampires are lucky I got him when I did.", he told them. That made a lot of sense, turning to dust when I stabbed the guy with the pool cue and being drawn and quartered by teeth. The other part, getting me, didn't make a whole lot of sense. Unless you're suicidal. Another one, I think Angelus, asked him why they were so lucky to have gotten me. "Wolverine always has a way of getting things shut down. Get him out of the running good and early."

"Wolverine?", Spike said. "Do you mean the Logan-san that was running 'round Japan in the 80s?" "Do you know this guy?", Angelus asked him. "Not personally, but I've heard enough to take a vacation. Come on pet." The female pushed the wheel chair past the cage. Spike grabbed one of the bars as they passed, and she stopped. "Look mate, I know you're going to think of me as the enemy because I'm not helping you. So I'm leaving. Don't come looking for us either, it'll be a waste of your time." And they left. I never smelled them again.

"So what now?", Sabretooth said. "Same as before.", Angelus told him. "You capture the Slayer, you get paid. Simple, as in easy. Just tell me why we haven't dumped this guy at the docks yet." Sabretooth damn near giggled. "Well, shorty don't die easy. But I'll admit that I don't know what effect your boys feeding had on him. So I think we should just wait for him to wake up. Either he does and we can really kill him, or he doesn't and we can really kill him anyway." Hate to admit it, but that's probably the smartest thing I've heard Sabretooth say.

Then a crash came. "Dammit.", Angelus spat. Him, Sabretooth and a lot of vampires were hightailing it out of there. Not wanting to miss the fun, I jumped up and punched the cage door hard as I could. It openning still surprised me. I jumped down to the floor of what looked like a factory, claws out. I was ready to cut into somebody, anybody- but no one was there.

Except for the blonde chick, some other kids, and the red headed girl from last night. "Gonna let me know your name now, kid?", I asked her. The blonde one spoke up, "I think we can give you some answers. Besides, we have your bike, and it's a little to big for me to ride around on so we decided to give it back."
