'Ok that's it!' thought Spike as he made out with Drusilla for the millionth time, 'I'm sick of this!'
"Dru! I'm sick of this and I'm sick of you. it's over, for good this time."
Before she could say anything he walked away.
"Buffy, can I talk to you?"
"Are you gonna hit on me?"
"No. I just wanna talk."
"Ok, talk."
"What is it about me that's so repulsive to you?"
"I don't.."
"I mean what's wrong with me? Am I ugly, does my breath stink?"
"Spi.."
"Am I to much of an idiot? I'm coming off to desperate aren't I?"
"SPIKE! If you want me to answer any of those questions you need to shut up. Honey I don't think you're repulsive, there's nothing wrong with you, you're not ugly, you're always minty fresh as far as I know, you're not an idiot...most of the time and well...yes you are coming off pretty desperate. It's not that I don't like you, i just don't see you like that."
"What the bloody hell does that mean?"
"It means I have feelings for you, just not romantic feelings. You're more like a brother to me."
"So you don't hate me?"
"No! Where'd you get that idea?"
"Usually girls either accept me or reject me out of pure discust."
"You don't discust me Spike."
"So we're good?"
"The best."
"I'd give you a hug right now, but Angel's watching us."
"Got cha."
Buffy waved him over.
"He's not hitting on you is he?"
"No. Spike and I have to an ageement. And that is friends. Just friends."
Angel looked at Spike who nodded in agreement.
"Well...that's good. You guys wanna go to a movie?"
"Sure. Spike?"
"Eh why not. Just don't make out in the theatre. I don't want to half to seperate you two!"
They went to see the movie and from then on Angel and Spike were a lot nicer to each other.
