Cleo slowly walked up to Giles
"You are a fool! All this time, and you still couldn't figure it out! I want your power, you have magical energy, and I want it!"
"Well guess what! Your not going to get it!" Jenny Calendar's eyes grew golden yellow, as she raised her hands to perform the spell.
Meanwhile, a vampire had chased Willow ito to the maze like book shelves, she didn't know where to turn. She glanced behind her shoulder, and didn't see her pursuer, but as she went to look back, she bumped right into him.
The vampire chuckled "You, you are a fresh one. I will enjoy this!"
He backed her against a bookshelf and opened his mouth to feed, but just as he was about to bite, he exploded into a million dust particles. Willow breathed a sigh of relief as she looked into the kind eyed face of Merrick.
"You dare!" Cleo yelled to the techno-pagan. "you dare to challenge me!"
"Yep," Ms Calendar replied casually, this was only to buy time enough for Giles, he was already slowly edging out of harms way, going to find Buffy. Or what was left of her.
Giles inched slowly to the opening in the wall where the library doors had once been, and then made a break for it. Running like he didn't know he could. he ran out of the school, to the graveyard. And that is where he found his slayer, Buffy Summers, lying on he cold ground, lifeless. He heard a far away scream, his beloved Jenny Calendar, destroyed by the awesome power of the Solar witch. And that is when... he woke up.
