A/N:I am so sorry it's been so long since I've updated. I hope you like this chapter. i'm trying to make it as impossible for them as possible. I want--well, just read it.
Buffy woke up in Angel's car,"Huh?"She asked blinking.
"You're mom, wanted me to leave so she could take care of you, I told her I wouldn't, and she kicked us out. I'm going to a hotel."
"She kicked us out? Just like that? Well, that's, odd. What about Giles? What did he say?"Buffy asked putting the seat upright.
"I didn't even think to ask Giles. Here, you call him. I don't know how to work this thing."Angel said handing Buffy a cell phone. She laughed and dialed Giles' number.
"Giles? Hi, it's Buffy. My mom kinda, kicked us out and we don't have a place to--but--Giles! Okay. Bye."
"Lemme guess, we can't stay there either?"
"Well, he's having company in a few days and he wants to set up. Plus, he thinks we need to prepare to be on our own."
"Hotel it is then."
"Why don't we go back to L.A.? No one seems to want us here. And at least we have a place to stay there."
"Right, but I'm sure you're tired, and I know I'm tired so we should stop and get a good nights sleep before we leave."
"Okay. Can't say I'm against sleeping in your arms tonight."She smiled at him and he smiled at her and gripped her hand.
"We're going to be okay. I promise you."Angel assured her. Buffy smiled and nodded. But behind that smile was pain. Pain about what Giles had really said, and what he mom had done. She couldn't understand it. It was all like a bad dream that she couldn't wake up from.
They pulled up to the hotel and got out of the car. Angel walked up to the counter and got them a room. He opened the door to a bed, a television set, and a mini fridge. There were two doors inside. One to the bathroom and one to the closet,"We stay here for one night then go back to L.A."Angel said looking at the room.
"Okay. I'm gonna shower."
"You want me in there with you?"Angel asked wrapping his arms around Buffy's waist. She leaned agaist his chest and listened to his beating heart.
"Yeah."He held her tightly and they stood like that for at least five minutes,"I don't understand why they're doing this. Now of all times, when we need them most, they abandon us."
"Let's get in the shower."Angel said kissign the top of her head and breathing in her vanilla scent. They walked into the small bathroom. There was a shower, a toilet, and a sink. With one towel that looked like it needed to be washed,"Hold on."Angel walked out of the bathroom and Buffy started to undress.
He re-entered with two fluffy white towels,"Here."Buffy put her shirt she just took of on the closed toilet, along with the towels. Angel hugged Buffy from behind and whispered,"Everything is going to be fine."
She turned to face him and took off his shirt and ran her hands down it,"I know." Angel unhooked Buffy's bra and slid it down her shoulders.
They finished taking of theirs and each others clothes and got into the shower. Buffy wiped the water off of her face and started kissing Angel.
He put his hand on the small of her back and kissed her,"I love you."Angel whispered.
"I love you."Buffy pulled out of the kiss and hugged Angel. He held her tightly and kissed her forehead,"I don't think I can do this."
"Yes you can. We can. We'll get through this. I swear." Angel said as he rubbed her back. They stood that way in the shower for a view minutes when Buffy suddenly jerked away and clutched her stomach.
She groaned in pain and backed against the wall,"Oh God!"
"Buffy!"Angel watched as she kept screaming out in pain. Something was hurting her, or the baby.There was a banging on the motel room door,"Just a minute!" Angel shouted turning off the water and picking Buffy up. She was still holding he stomach as he wrapped the towel around her.
He carried her out to the bed and layed her down as the banging continued,"Hold on!" He went back into the bathroom and wrapped a towel around himself. He rushed out and opened the door,"Yes Mr. Donalds."
"The lady in the room next to yours says there was a scream and banging on the wall. Is your wife okay?"
Buffy screamed again and rolled onto her stomach,"Angel!"
"She's pregnate and the baby is doing something weird, she's fine but I need to go back to her."
"Do you want me to call the hospital?"
"No. I'll take care of it. Thanks for checking on us. Goodbye."Angel slammed the door and ran to the bed. He sat next to Buffy and put a hand on her arm. Buffy screamed again and Angel flew back and hit the wall, knocking him unconcious.
